Hands down the best pediatric optometrist in town. The wait was short, the exam was long with a toddler, but the patience that Dr. McGarvey showed with my 2yo during his first eye exam is something I will forever be grateful for. Wonderful practitioner and practice as a whole.

Everyone is so friendly and kind! My wait time was less than 2 minutes. The convenience to come back whenever to pick out glasses is awesome! Definitely would recommend this office!

Dr. McGarvey is very personal and patient. He answers every question and communicates very well. He took all the time needed to finish my exam. His office also has state of the art equipment.

Best eye care I've ever received. The office was clean and had warmth, everyone from the front desk to the Dr. was incredibly friendly and took the time to make sure I was taken care of. They fit me in the day of and their was almost no wait time.Everything was carefully explained to me and the eye exam felt more thorough than other places I've been to. Thank you for such excellent care, your team has top notch customer service. I will be going here from now on!

Great experience! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They interacted perfectly with my two year old to make her comfortable. They really seemed to care and spent plenty of time with us.

Everyone was very friendly and efficient. Dr. McGarvey is very kind and compassionate. I have to credit him with saving my life. Three years ago, I was scheduled to see Dr. McGarvey to have a change of my prescription for contact lens. He and his staff, being very thorough, encouraged me to have a picture taken of my retina. As a result, Dr. McGarvey found that I had an ocular melanoma. By encouraging me to have that picture taken, the tumor was caught in time in that it was still small and had not metastasized. Dr. McGarvy made sure that I was sent to all the right people in order to have this taken care of. My last check up at Vanderbilt Eye Center was this past January, and found that the tumor was dead. After cataract surgery one month ago, I now see better in that eye than the other. Thank you Dr. McGarvy!

I have had great experience in my office visits. Staff polite, courteous, friendly and very professional. Dr. Mc. Garvey puts you at ease, is very thorough and a good clinician.

Dr. McGarvey is a great optometrist, kind, courteous, gentle, caring, and thorough. He doesn't seem rushed but takes time to talk with the patient in a personable way. He discusses options available and is not pushy. He is a Christian gentleman that takes his helping ministry seriously. I recommend him very highly. He even made a special trip to the office on Saturday when I had a detached retina, even though I was not his patient at the time but needed someone who would see me.

If you ever need a doctor that knows how to handle kids this is the one for you! He and his tech Nicole are WONDERFUL. My little man is 13 mo old and wasn't in the mood for people messing with his head today but they got down in the floor and played and talked with him and turned mickey mouse on all to make him comfortable and make the exam easier!! He set my nerves at ease on something the pediatrician thought she saw and i will definitely be going back to him in the future!!!
