Dr.Smith was extremely rude. He laughed at me describing the pain I was in. He made me feel like I was lying even though I had plenty of scans and proof to show why I was having those issues. He was very condescending. His tone was nothing like what a doctor should have with a patient who has been trying to find relief for weeks. And “the only cure is surgery”

Dr Smith has a great bedside manner, and took the time to actually talk to me about my pending surgery. Post surgery was just as well. I would recommend him as well as Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN

I was struck with a medical condition that is almost always (85% of the time) fatal. Dr. Smith operated and saved my life. In addition to his expertise as a surgeon he has the ability to communicate in language a laymen can understand and the ability to calm his patient's fears. I am very fortunate.

He took very good care of my father. Excellent in knowledge and surgery. As a patient's daughter I couldn't be more pleased. As a coworker in surgery he is excellent.

Dr. Smith is excellent. Took care of my father on several occasions. Gruff but honest, doesn't sugar coat or tell you wrong. Work with him in surgery that is why my father went to him, liked him, and appreciated his opinion. As a family of a patient I appreciate him, as a coworker I respect and appreciate him.
