I was referred to Dr. Swafford for hernia surgery. It was as good an experience as I could have imagined. Dr Swafford was very professional and gave me confidence that I was in very competent hands. I had all my needs and questions attended to and felt at ease through the entire time I was under his care. If I ever need a surgeon again I will insist on Dr Swafford.

I am so thankful that Dr. Swafford was on ER call when I had my emergency. He provided me with compassionate and competent care (as did the wonderful ER and surgical staff at Memorial Northpark). We are lucky to have him in Chattanooga and Dayton. Thank you for taking such good care of me!

We arrived early for our appointment. We were kept waiting in the waiting room for an hour and then did not see the doctor for another hour. We saw him for maybe 5 minutes. His nurse was supposed to come in after to schedule a procedure. After half an hour of waiting we checked to see where she was and we were told she had gone home. This is unacceptable.

Rhea county isn’t a large county, but I would recommend you come here. Dr. Swafford is articulate and very knowledgeable and everyone should really consider him as a practice. My family is truly grateful for him and his staff. My family witnessed hope transformed to real life hope personified.

From the time I went to the ER with my gallbladder until the time I was released after surgery the care I received was excellent. The ER staff and nurses, the surgery department Dr.Swafford, his staff, and all who took care of me at Rhea Medical Center on the 2nd floor were fantastic. Would recommend Dr. Swafford to anyone.
