Dr schlabach when i was patient said i could work .. after chemo but .. i had heart failure i asked recently for medical opinion on my colon cancer an asbestoslink wgile in service us navy he said there was no link....while i was his patient they would do scan ct .. i had nodules in my lungs then? i had three yrs exposure to asbestos as boiler technician him saying theres no link is slap in my face. there are studys proving the links Yes, there is evidence suggesting a link between asbestos exposure and an increased risk of colorectal cancer (including colon cancer). Here's what the research indicates: Positive Association: Studies have found a significant association between occupational asbestos exposure and increased colorectal cancer mortality. Controversy and Ongoing Research: The role of asbestos in causing colorectal cancer is still considered somewhat controversial, but recent studies and meta-analyses provide additional support for the connection. Mechanism: Asbestos fibers, when ingested or inhaled and potentially transported to the digestive system, can lodge in tissues and cause chronic inflammation and scarring, which could contribute to the development of malignant tumors. Benign Colon Polyps in Rats: Some studies in animals have shown the induction of benign colon polyps after asbestos exposure, which are a precursor to common human colon cancers. Higher Risk in High-Exposure Groups: Studies where asbestos-associated lung cancer risk was elevated also showed a higher risk of colorectal cancer, implying that higher levels of asbestos exposure may be linked to an increased risk of developing the disease. Latency Period: Asbestos-related cancers, including colon cancer, can take a long time to develop, often 10 to 50 years after exposure. Other Risk Factors: It's important to note that many other factors can contribute to colon cancer risk, including age, diet, lifestyle, and family history. In summary: While more research is ongoing, the evidence suggests that asbestos exposure is a risk factor for colorectal cancer. People with significant occupational or other exposure to asbestos, particularly those in high-risk professions like insulation workers, are encouraged to discuss this risk with their healthcare providers.
Beware of Nurse Angela G for needle sticks. She stuck me so deep in both arms and I’m not a problematic stick whatsoever. She even broke through her glove and touched the needle spot on both arms with her bare hand after she was back and forth between equipment etc. She plunged the needle so deep on the second arm. I have never in my 47 years had a needle go that deep. Thankfully I carry hypochlorous acid and cleaned myself up and pray she didn’t transfer something to me, but this is record if she did! She blames the needles but the first time wasn’t great either. Just refuse her service and save yourself!
Paying bill was easy. Nikki was great. Took very good care of paying my bill.
I visit this office due to a iron issue in my blood. They have acquired patients so now visits are extremely long for a 10 min visit. The doctor is awesome but goodness the waits suck.
Dr.Holland and Maria are absolutely amazing! Their receptionist and others are absolutely wonderful! I'm am so grateful to have them. I wouldn't be on the road to remission if it were for this amazing group on third st.Words will never be able to decribe how greatful I am to this team! I would refer them to the world! Thank u for the compassion!
Dr. Anz and his crew and nurses are some of the best and they care about their patients and health anytime you need anything they are a phone call away and will always call back . The make you feel like family more so than a patient
Very good oncologist place Doctor and Nurses are very helpful and very nice
It’s sad that all the Oncologist in the Chattanooga area have joined together in a group where their main concern is money and not patient care.
Great Team and very caring

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
