Dr Maxwell was amazing. He preformed an emergency gallbladder removal on me. He was so personable, professional, and informative. He took the time post surgery to find my husband, explain it all to him. Made sure all was ok with both of us. His nurse was so helpful post surgery. My family will definitely use him again should anyone need a surgeon.

I have been a patient of University Surgical for over 20 years. Have seen 2 Dr. Rows, Dr. Giles and Dr. Valle. They all have been courteous, understanding and really seemed to care about me as a person and not just someone who needed treatment. The first of the month I had a mammogram and was told I need a biopsy. Got a call, “I'm … from University Surgical and want to schedule you for a biopsy.” Got appointment for the 4th at 11:00AM. Received several emails and a phone call wanting me to fill out the pre-registration on line. It took me about 10 minutes, age, how do you feel, what medications do you take, surgery and the dates, etc. Also told me to be 20 minutes early. I did, paid copay, went to waiting room. This was all going great- the anxiety I felt waiting to get to the appointment was easing up. No one in waiting room but me so played games on phone. Lady came in, was called back – played another game. Two ladies came in – watched house makeover. Ladies called back. It was now 12:45. In another 10 minutes I was called back. Weighed, checked blood pressure, asked if I was on blood thinner, told change into gown, Dr. would be in shortly. Paced, played game on phone, paced..... Dr. came in at 2:40.... Hello, are you on blood thinners, how old are you, what surgerys have you had. Get up on table, put stethoscope on chest, lay back, check breast.......We need to schedule a biopsy. Wait, what? I thought this was for a biopsy... Dr. “we do not have an assembly line, we needed to find out if you were on blood thinners. I will be on vacation for a couple of weeks so we can schedule you for a biopsy in 2 to 3 weeks.” I was not happy.... He said if I did not like it I could go on down the road to another doctor.. Me – feeling like a wad of old paper being thrown out – Nice nurse told me to get dressed and she would be right back. She got me an appointment only 14 days away. I really, really hope this one is for the biopsy!

Don’t waste your money on Dr. Lorenzo. I paid thousands of dollars for 2 procedures, neither worked AND her office will not return my calls; she’s also very rude.

Past 3 months after my surgery I leave messages and NO return calls and I suffered with yeast infection under my bandage and NO call back never answered my questions and they have messed up my schedule appointment up. They never call me back at all. Been 3 months not good ........

Dr. Richard Moore is great as well as his team. His nurse Kristin Dagnan is awesome and returns calls to the patient very quickly. I would recommend this Dr and his team to anyone

Was supposed to have surgery june 14, they’ve called before that appointment and canceled then rescheduled for June 17, and called 25 minutes before my next appointment and canceled. The whole situation has been inconvenient for me and my work schedule along with the pain I have from them pushing the surgery back. I believe that they have been very unprofessional towards me.

Dr. Maxwell is the best. Excellent surgeon, excellent staff.

have two kids seeing Dr Lisa Smith and she has been great. answers any questions we have without trying to rush us through. always just a phone call away. very happy to know her even if its cause of a medical reason. always in a great mood

Dr Swafford is great. I could not have done this without him. Thank you very much.

I have been trying to get my son an appointment with them for a month. Every time I call no one is ever available to speak to, and they will not return my calls or I get disconnected while I am waiting on hold. The nurse is the one who has to set the appointment instead of a receptionist like every other doctor’s office. This is the second time dealing with Dr. Koonz and his so called staff and I had the same problem last time. I had to take a day off work to finally get him an appointment last time. This is the worst place I have ever dealt with in my life.
