Very pretentious and rude. Would not recommend Does not listen to patients.

Ive been to many doctors in my 50yrs. All I can say is this guy needs to find a new line of work. He is the absolute worst doctor I have ever been to.

pretentious ill involved asked 0 questions we waited for an hour to see him and he stayed in the room for 5 minutes tops and threw me a lexapro prescription after trying to explain how severe my anxiety was and asking if their were any alternatives he got very rude and acted like the only reason i was in there trying was to get a xanax prescription never mentioned the word once and explained my father had recently passed from an overdose he replied okay and then told me to seek counseling. bottom line i didnt have any high expectations for finding a method but a little common courtesy and ability to level with a person goes a long way. purely a cash grab doctor getting patients in and out as fast as possible so they make more money. talked very belittling and almost acted as if anxiety wasnt a big deal or wasnt a primary concern. an utter waste of time

I called a few weeks to make an appointment with Dr. Smith for an infection in my leg that was spreading and very painful. I was told he was booked up till the next week but I was able to come in and see Dr. Derryberry. Due to the timing of this infection I was unable to pay my copay because of being out of work because of the infection. The office did allow me to be billed the copay. When Dr. Derryberry came in to see me he sit there and did absolutely nothing for me. He told me he was prescribing me antibiotics but when I tried getting them filled the pharmacy said they were never called in. I called the nurse back but was told she would call me back later so she can get some answers. When she called back I was told Dr. Derryberry states he was not prescribing me anything because Dr. Smith was my primary doctor and I would have to set another appointment with him. So I have now been billed a co pay for a visit that did nothing. I still called and made an appointment with Dr. Smith. Went into the appointment today and was unable to be seen because I was unable to pay my copay and they refused to bill me again because of the last time was billed. So now I have had this infection in my leg preventing me from working for over three weeks with no antibiotics. Thanks for nothing. Guess I have to go to emergency room just so I can be seen and make sure I’m not going to lose a leg

Have been his patient for 5 years and he doesn’t show much interest in helping you. My husband saw him today and didn’t touch him listen to his heart or lungs. My husband has CHF and a pacemakerdefibrillator. How he treats someone without touching them is beyond me.

Not friendly. Stood at the door the entire time of my appt. I would not recommend him to anyone.

My mother went to him every 3 months. In the last two years he never listened to her heart tool her blood pressure or took her complaints serious. We lost my mom a week ago due to congestive heart. If he had listen to heart or her he would have realized her heart was only beating 40 bears per minute and her legs and feet where extremely swollen. My mom dead because he didn’t examine her when she would go to him.

Terrible bed side manner absolutely no empathy what so ever. Doesn’t care or doesn’t seem to want to discuss your health concerns. I’ve seen him 3 or 4 times and he probably spent a total of 10 minutes with me in all those appointments combined.

Wish I could say I enjoy seeing Dr. Smith but honestly Im often finding myself rebooking or asking for another doctor if possible. Very poor patient side manner. I thought it was because of being new but after 10 years i still feel that way.

Dr. Smith is very professional on time compassionate and has referred me to excellent specialist. He takes the right amount of time to diagnose and treat the problems.
