List of William Young's Reviews
I saw Dr. Young today. He's the best, as always. New faces, new smiles and the staff now are amazing! My wait time was zero minutes and I could not be more pleased. ??
Dr Young is a most excellent doctor, but his staff are the stuff of nightmares, rude, unprofessional and hateful towards people who are suffering already.
Dr. Young has been my urologist for the past 20 years. I have had chronic kidney stones during this time. Since I have only passed a few small stones ONCE and I have had six surgeries to manually remove them I asked him to refer me to someone who could figure out what has been causing them. He then asked if I wanted to do a test to determine the cause...that would have been great about 3 surges ago. Also very charming until questioned about your treatment, then he becomes quite nasty. Treating kidney stone and having to live with them are not the same experience😔
BUTCHER SHOP!! It wouldn't let me do NO stars. That is what I would compare them to. Waited in lobby 45 minutes to have stent removed. Watched people come in after me and go back. Nurse ripped the stent out of me. Hurt so bad it made me cry. Called up in severe pain begging for something to stop the pain. They wouldn't give me anything to help, told me I could go to ER. I felt like I was in one of those movies where they perform illegal abortions and they end up in all that pain. I hurt so bad they should have their license pulled!! Canceled my next appointment, and I am reporting them.
Dr. Young saved my life! He removed my left kidney using hand port assisted surgery. He spent hours in surgery cleaning out all the infection a doctor in North Carolina caused. My kidney had crystallized against the muscle in my back. He is an excellent doctor. He is my hero!
Best doctor ever! He saved my life after another doctor butchered my left kidney. He did everything he could to save my kidney, but it was too far gone. I am so glad that he was my surgeon. He has an excellent bedside manner, and bc of him I am alive today.
Each member of the staff is rude and uncaring. Dr. Young doesn’t listen and is ineffective in treating the issues. Will be finding another doctor/practice.
Knowledgeable, caring doctor Been seeing him nearly 20 years Just a wonderful person and competent physician
There are 18 people in the waiting room. It would appear they make appointments with no intention of keeping them. Just pack everyone in and get to them when they get to them. So far it has been 30 minutes, but I'm guessing it will be at least an hour. He may be a great doctor but if you don't respect anyone's time you're certainly not getting mine.
For 4 months I have been saying I've had kidney stone that's why I have a UTI and a take this round antibiotics take that round I've had five or six rounds of antibiotics now they finally put a PICK line in my arm without ordering a KUB or even a CT scan try to get rid of the infection then after they pull the pick line out my infection comes back and they say oh well let's take another culture and let's see what you have and then it comes back positive and they put me on another round of antibiotics and then order a CT scan to only show kidney stones which have a germ more likely that's why I'm getting infections but why in God's name did it take 4 months for this and now I have to wait for another three weeks to get them out makes no sense I don't mean to be a difficult patient but there's no reason somebody should have to be on that me antibiotics for someone to figure out that it's a germ thats in the kidney stone that's causing the UTIs I feel like I've been put on the back burner nobody cares anymore he useto not be like that I felt like they really did care now I feel like I'm just a number.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
