This is a money hungry clinic. Other Clinics would prepare paperwork for free because you are a patient at their establishment. (Yes, I did call MY doctor’s office to confirm that) This is not my doctor’s office though, thank goodness!! Dr. Patel’s clinic charges $50 for FMLA paperwork. Also, if you need one for your spouse’s absence from their job as well, that’s another $50.00. Because the doctor will have to sign TWICE. SMH. Money Hungry is all I got to say. SMH
He has been my primary doctor for ten years,He is a really good doctor😁
It is s great place very friendly staff glad i chose them to be my primary care physician
This drs office told me if I didn’t have tRICARE they wouldn’t see me this is outrageous when at first they said they was taking new patients but as soon as I said my insurance the lady laughed and said nope not taking that insurance then I said oh but you’d take me if I had tricare she said sure would.
This is the worst doctor office i have been to in my life. They are childish and really only care about money! They are not there to care for anyone. I should have changed doctors when i seen them turn away an older women because she forgot to pay her insurance not her bill. Now i am sick and they have discharge me. I can tell you is do not go there!!!!!!
My dad has been a patient for over 20 years.Great doctor.
I am very happy with my choice of Dr. B. Patel as my General Practioner in Clarksville. I Ike that he is very easy going-he is very easy to talk to and he listens well. I trust his opinion and have confidence in his knowledge and experience. Plus he has a great sense of humor, which is always nice in a medical professional. His staff is great-very punctual and friendly. I am 60 and moved here from New York. Finding new doctors when moving out of state can be quite frustrating and worrisome, but I am very happy with my choice! I highly recommend Dr. B. Patel!
I was hopeful with relocating to this area that I would get better care then the lack of care I received in Alabama. I found this doctor on my insurance website based on my plan and he had great patient reviews. I scheduled a Wellness visit/Physical with this provider way back in November. I never received a reminder call so, I missed my initial appointment and they were kind enough to reschedule the appointment for today 1/21/19 at 3:30, with a requested arrival at 3:00. When I made the appointment I was very clear with the scheduler that I wanted a physical. I asked if their practice had a policy where I had to have an initial visit before I could schedule a wellness visit, I was told I could schedule my physical with no problem. I arrived at 2:55 PM CST. I sat for over a hour before the receptionist called me up and requested a payment of $101.98, I asked why I was being charged for an annual wellness visit. The receptionist stated they never do a Physical or Wellness visit on the first visit; I advised her I had asked if this was their policy, because I never would have scheduled an appointment or proceeded with this doctor. The receptionist took my paperwork and walked back to an office and spoke with the office manager. The office manager approached the receptionist desk in an attempt to explain their policy. I interjected and advised I am well aware of what their policy is now that I have sat well beyond my appointment time. She proceeded to tell me that I don't have a Gynecologist listed but a gynecologist would perform my wellness, a wellness visit for a woman it includes a pap smear. I interjected and said, "Excuse me, so now women have to go to a gynecologist for a wellness visit to perform a basic metabolic panel, complete physical to screen for conditions? That's not handled by a selected primary care provider, it's now the role of a gynecologist?" She looked flustered and continued with something to the affect of "She knows it can be confusing for patients. That' s the way things are and no problems can be discussed at a wellness visit." I interjected again and stated, "With all do respect, I was asked about my family history and my medical history. Someone who I am considering to be my primary care provider should want to know about me. I did not present with a problem. I asked for a physical, with the expectation that someone I had considered to be a primary provider for me, would perform one along with routine blood work, then schedule a follow-up so we could discuss any conditions I have to make a plan . I don't want to reschedule because I no longer trust you, I was not told that this was your policy, and frankly that's not the kind of provider I am looking for. Since Affordable Care has been in place patients all over this country are getting horrible care. We are being denied wellness visits and providers are now only focused on costs instead of treating us as people. I am done." I walked out. I am not saying the experience I had, represents this physician's practice, I can only share what happened to me in hopes that it never happens to another patient. Since the policy was not provided to me prior to scheduling a physical and is not posted any where in their office when you arrive. Here is what you should know, They do not give physicals on the initial visit. They want you to pay for an in initial visit either your co-pay or for the visit, depending on your plan. At some point in the future you are eligible to schedule a physical in several months. If you are a woman, the office manager there, feels a wellness visit, is a gynecological exam: Pap w/ breast exam and should be handled by your gynecologist or he can provide it. Hmmm that's not what my insurance reads and has never been my understanding. I am entitled to a physical annually with a basic metabolic panel, this all goes toward the initiative for patients to know their numbers and be accountable for their health. I am entitled to a Pap Smear w/ breast exam annually from a gynecologist of my choice.
Staff is so friendly and the NP I saw was so sweet. I didn't feel rushed or ignored. She took the time to listen to my concerns and this is very important for me in finding a great PCP. I feel like I have found the best in Clarksville. I would refer anyone looking here.
You have to see the nurse before Dr. every time if you call in to get an appointment with him no see nurse first. Even though I just saw the nurse. Called in ask to see the dr they once again said no you have to see the nurse. I haven’t see the dr in a while. I am very frustrated and will be seeking for a new dr. Don’t seem to address my problems at all just keep scheduling more appts. If you have bloodwork done and they are high for months and your still scheduled four months out to see the doctor that’s not good. For over a year of going every four months you only see the doctor maybe twice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
