Dr Holland treated me for a condition that no other doctor in Chattanooga was willing to attempt because of the risk. Dr Holland came to my hospital room, took my history and returned the next day with a simple course of treatment that put me on the road to recovery. I now find myself again in his capable hands with another dangerous condition and have absolute confidence that he will provide the best treatment possible. I have a renewed hope of healing.

Several years ago after being diagnosed with Stage 4, I first met Dr. Holland. He was to be, and still is, my oncologist. Ha! Did you see that, several years ago, Stage 4, under Dr. Holland’s care, no, under his excellent care. He truly is one of the nicest and gentlest people I’ve ever met. He’s very easy to talk to, actually listens, and really cares. I’ve never felt rushed while in any appointment him. He has made my journey way less stressful. He is an expert in his field of study and practice, oncology and hematology.

Incredible MD! I have had cancer twice . I’m currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer . There is absolutely no way I can rate this physician higher ! He’s a fierce medical advocate . I have not been “lost” in the system. It’s very obvious he spends much time individualizing the cancer treatment plan and care for each of his patients . He spends time answering my questions , which cannot be understated: cancer can be overwhelming and treatment plans so confusing. They do an amazing job trying to keep very ill patients out of the hospital with the use of their treatment room for needed medical therapies . He manages and tries hard to offset the bad side effects of cancer treatments . His PA and nursing staff are exceptional ! Having cancer is a terrifying and life- changing event that no one should have to face . But I cannot imagine having a better advocate than him, and I will be forever grateful to him and the incredible support staff. .

Attentive and caring So very kind in relaying such a bad cancer diagnosis. Was attentive and listened to my concerns. He gave me hope and said my rare type of cancer is treatable.

Dr. Holland and Maria are great! I have been there with both my Mom and brother. We get the best of care and comminication. They saved my brother's life after being diagnosed with a rare leukemia. The lab is always at it's best also.

Excellent and Caring I've been seeing Dr. Holland about 15 years. He and his staff keep a close watch on my hairy cell leukemia. Recently I developed a melanoma on my back that a surgeon (Dr. Alvero Valle) surgically removed; and Dr. Holland and he are following my melanoma case. BTW: Dr. Valle is excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend both of these men.
