List of George Kurita's Reviews
Dr. Kurita was very attentive to my husband's problem. He returned all calls and emails immediately and his knowledge was outstanding.
Dr Kurita is great. Very good at his job, as well as very personable. Staff is always right on time and always do that "extra little thing" whatever it may be to make the visit a pleasant. He's concise with his explanations and recommendations. Highly recommend Dr Kurita to anyone looking for an exceptional Dermatologist.
Doctor George Kurita diagnosed and treated my skin problem quickly and effectively. This man knows his field and it shows in how he professionally analyzes all the symptoms, history and tests. He went above and beyond in my opinion! I firmly recommend this physician for any dermatological need.
Avoid 100% George Kurita kept me waiting 1.5 hours past appointment time. Other patients entered and left during that time with his colleagues. Kurita interrupted me at EVERY sentence while I was stating my rash pathology & origins. Glanced at my rashes, said was eczema not fungal, then contradicted self that eczema looks the same as fungal rash. Refused to run a test to determine which it was. Told me to change laundry detergent instead. Solved myself with topical vinegar. Kurita = clueless

My skin rash started in 2005. I went to a dermatologist for maybe 10 visits and tried several remedies. Nothing worked entirely. The rash was very itchy and pretty unbearable. Moisture made it worse. I moved to Clarksville and needed to find a new dermatologist to keep working on this problem in 2008 and mr. Kurita was available. I came to see him with hopes he could help me. He used a voice tape recorder outside the door before entering which I found very strange. Inside the room he examined the rash and said he needed to biopsy it. Owe owe owe owe owe. He cut a chunk of my buttocks which was sore from the rash anyway. I wasn't prepared at all for how much that would hurt. Then he tells me the rash is normal nothing for me to do or anything he could prescribe. Nothing!!!!!! I was devastated. I pleaded with him. He told me not to use soap. I was really upset. And before I left the room he handed me some soap samples!!!! Flash forward to 2014 and after almost 10 years of suffering I finally met a dermatologist who cured my rash. So George here you go triamcinolone acetonide cream .1% by ascend laboratories.
My husband went to Dr. Kurita for a skin rash. On a second visit a biopsy (in office) was performed and I was not allowed in with my husband. The third visit was a consultation to discuss the results of the biopsy. Again, I was denied access even though my husband repeatedly said that he wanted me to be there. A second set of ears , so to speak. The nurse was rude and said those were Dr. Kurita's rules and the rest of the staff were also rude. He did prescribe an ointment to relieve itching on the second visit, but we will not be going back.
The Dr. and staff was very nice to me. I was not looking forward to the appointment, but would not hesitate to return to this office. THUMBS UP!!!!
INCREDIBLY rude doctor. Staff was polite but I will never be back or recommend!!
I wish I had read these reviews before I went in today. I've been ripped off. I went in today for a rash that has been on my neck for over a year and it's not spreading to my chest. He acknowledged the rash but told me to come back when it's acute for a biopsy. He didn't want to do anything about it today. He didn't even try to diagnose me because I didn't "look bad" today. Well you see it's there and I'm telling you that it hurts and obviously it's a problem. Why do I need to come back when it's really bad if you can see the irritation now? Why even let it get really bad again? I'll never recommend this office to anyone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
