List of Gregg Shepard's Reviews
Do not go to Dr Shepard for breast cancer. When I first saw him, I had newly stage one breast cancer. He seemed professional and caring. I figured he was the professional so the timeline was standard. However, he did not follow up to make sure I had received the MRI. He had said they would call me, but they did not. When I called a month later, back to check, I was scheduled for a couple of weeks. The only thing I got from him was that further tests were required, scheduled, again, weeks later. Long story short, by the time I my daughter got me to Dr Mitchell, I was stage 3, cancer having almost tripled in size and spread to lymph nodes and other breast. Dr Mitchell got me in immediately and started chemo to shrink it within a a week and a half.
My son in law was grossly mistreated by this "doctor." He was criticized and ostracized when he decided to go to MD Anderson for a second opinion. " Doctor" Shepherd would not return calls and was very unprofessional. Ought to lose his right to practice!
Does not return messages or phone calls, left me hanging for information on follow up treatment. No direct way to contact office, appointments dropped and treatment delayed!
Do not go to him if your loved one has gotten cancer. He does not truly care for his patients. He is not empathetic nor understanding at all. I can truly and whole heartedly say he did not take the best care of my poor father. Please save your loved ones and go elsewhere. God bless
I appreciate that he actually listened to me and took what I had to say into consideration <3 that is hard to find
I have never written a review about a doctor until the experience my family had with Gregg Shepard. I will not address him as a doctor. Avoid this man like a PLAGUE.
Very bad experience! He had not familiarized himself with the patients history or file. 10 minutes into the conversation he informed us that the patient had 6 months to live. He didn't have a clue what kind of cancer the patient had. The cancer was slow growing (over 5 years) and he said it was aggressive. He couldn't find the test results or scans. He was not the right cancer specialist for us.
This was my first appointment and i’m very pleased so far. Dr Shephard was very patient answering my questions. I’ve got anemia and have to get my iron count up before I can have my hip revision surgery. He’s very confident that 1 or possibly 2 iron infusions will do the trick. His staff was very very nice
For having cancer and having to go somewhere this is the place I’d wanna be. Very nice staff and doc is caring and great. I am still trying to wrap my head around all of this and it’s hard but they’re there to help in anyway. Thank you Jesus for putting me with caring people.
Very personable, considerate and respectful. Exceptionally knowledgeable and very thoughtful. You could not ask for a kinder person.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
