Hysterectomy was not my only option Wonderful reviews, Unfortunately, that was not my experience. In August 2024, I got an appointment for fibroid treatment options. First he made me understand that fibroid is associated with black women and hysterectomy is the only option for me even though he understands my concerned about having children.He proceeded to do a quick pelvic exam that made my pain worse, due to the nature of the exam.I later did MRI and he later contacted me to discuss, after several attempt to reach him. He told me on the phone that he could refer me to his other colleagues but he can say for sure that hysterectomy would still be my only option. And added that'hysterectomy will be the solution to all your problems'. My appointment was rushed and didn’t feel heard. I had to find treatment options elsewhere I'm 4 months post open myomectomy now. Grateful for second opinion at another facility

I have long held a theory that the more academically intelligent a person is, the lower his or her social intelligence is. Which is fine - I don't really need my accountants and surgeons to be able to tell a yo' mama joke. But then I met Dr. Jason Cory Barnett, and he became the anomaly to my mostly justifiable position. Dr. Barnett is SO kind, communicative without being condescending, patient, calm, skilled, and overall incredible. I don't really know if one "recommends" surgeons in the same way as, say, a good place for a burger, but if you can choose, pick Dr. Barnett!! And if you get assigned to him and are currently reading reviews to see what you can find out - you got a winner, I promise. Also, Dr. Barnett pinched my big toe every time he walked out of my hospital room and it was literally the most endearing thing in the world. Totally made up for the fact that he reminded me how close I am to menopause.

First of all Dr Barnett is handsome lol Dr Barnett is highly recommended he is very gentle n my mother doesn’t have any pain after her exam. Maybe the looks took the pain away .
