List of Maqbool Ahmed's Reviews
I was a new patient. I moved to TN. Dr Ahmed was not even with me 15 min. He did not listen to anything I told him about my health. He made a new appointment 3 weeks later and said he would get my records. When I went the next appointment, he said he had not gotten my records. He tried to re-book me again. I can not play with this. My seizures are not small. While in his lobby I called my prior Neurology ...
He is rude and talks over you, never listens to you and he’s always busy to check in on your health, you can barely understand his speech and he will not listen to you, and he will raise his voice to you if you try to explain how you’re feeling, he just orders a lot of tests so you have to pay extra money to the clinic.
What a horrible experience.
been trying to reach them for several days now and keep getting the msg their mailbox is fuil
The appointment was at 10 am. I arrived at 9:40 am the assistant had to call the doctor to see when he was coming to work. Afterward, I left because it was almost 11 am and the doctor was still a no-show. Also, the clinic is filthy, and only one person works there aside from the doctor.
I suffer from chronic migraines and really desire to know what’s wrong. I wouldn’t recommend MD Maqbool to anyone looking for true preventative treatment. First, the office business hours are posted 8-5p, but his office didn’t open until 11:05. My appointment was at 11. Myself and other patients were waiting in the foyer. We were rallied and told to wait. Very poor quality provider and subpar patient service. Once the doctor entered the room, NEVER introduced himself, then asked why I’m here. He administered a basic workmans comp “check the block” head-to-toe exam, unrelated to the reason for my visit. He spoke over me and told me repeatedly “These are your only two options, Take med A or med B”. I asked about alternatives treatment methods. He restated that my two options, “take med A or med B”. He never asked my triggers nor symptoms. He only wanted to increase the dosage on the medication I’m already prescribed. Total time w/MD less than 10-mins.
It’s all true. Incompetent office staff. Dr. Ahmed talked over me and barely listened to me at all. I have had 2 appointments and both were barely 5 minutes long. I was obviously not priority. It took THREE WEEKS to get me an MRI scheduled that I was supposed to receive ASAP. Gave 1 Star because I HAD to.
this doctor has speech that is hard to understand. he treated me as if i was making up my symptoms. did not give me time to properly answer his questions. talked down and intimidated me. 1 more visit then i will see what ave i need to take to report his actions i can’t believe drs treat you as a nobody
I had a couple tests done. One of them being a heart monitor/ultrasound. He suspended my driving for six months (in October 2016). In November 2016, he stated that my heart results were good and to see a psychiatrist for my anxiety, and to come back in six months for a check-up to make sure I could drive. I went in and he asked if i seen a cardiologist for my heart issue. I stated no. I have tried to obtain these records but I am given the run around that they are "out of ink". DO NOT GO HERE!!
See's new patient without Medical History, without asking what medication you take already. Gives short speech about 'prevention' then talks over patient. Gave prescription for 2 medications that we had tried 20 years ago. Also what I am confused about Graduated from Dow College 1994 according to Bio......Dow College open 2003, Dow University open 2004(?) Does that mean he was ahead of his class? No recommendation from us. I believe his staff under oath would not recommend either (Paycheck)

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
