I haven't actually been able to attend STAR PT because my insurance plan made me stay on Fort Campbell, but I did want to write a review about Brittney at STAR! I chose to have my referral go through STAR hoping that I would be able to do my PT there instead of the base. Brittney was helpful and understanding through all the delays and the resubmissions of the referral order that my insurance put us through. Even after it became likely that the base would retain me and STAR wouldn't get my business, she would still call or text me with an update on the status of my referral order. She even called me after the referral changed to the base to ensure that I knew this and that I would call them for an appointment. She really went above and beyond to help during the last few weeks and has fantastic customer service!

Lucky for me, Travis Gibson was recommended. He not only asks me how I am feeling when I arrive, but he goes more in depth asking how I did after my last visit. He is constantly talking to me during my visit, wanting to know if what I am doing seems to help or hurt. Then, depending on my response, he may adjust my therapy session for that day. If I am having other spinal issues, he alters the PT plan and works on that area instead, even though it's not the main reason I was sent for PT. Love how he listens to me, the patient. This encourages me to have more confidence in my Therapist and try my best to get the most out of my visit and at home.I have also had the pleasure of having a student intern therapist, in addition to my main therapist. Travis is constantly talking to the intern, giving feedback to improve his skills. He also allows the intern to give feedback to him regarding my body's response to therapy. They are both willing to guide each other to get the best therapy for me. That goes a long way in my book!
