Dr. Petersen has been my primary physician since 2018, and I am healthier because of him. He is very comprehensive in tracking my health and takes time to explain our plan to stay on track. I look forward to our visits, and Tennova has made it convenient to communicate with his office through their AthenaHealth Portal. I highly recommend him as a primary care physician. Update 12/2022 - with Dr Peterson’s guidance and care I’m in much better health. Lost weight, good lab results, and feel great!

My primary care doctor of more than 30 years retired and I chose Dr.Peterson be my new one, knowing little about him but hoping we would be a good fit. We were! I was very pleased with his ease with discussing and explaining my medical issues and just being very open and kind. Here’s hoping we will have another long term professional relationship. Not often does a person over deliver but that has been my experience with Dr. Anders Peterson. He has been my doctor for many many years. He is so genuine and easy to talk to. He is very conscientious and is really focused on the best of all possible outcomes for me. I have had multiple medical issues, some very serious, which he guided me through the steps it would take to turn the negatives around. I have come full circle with many of my injuries and credit Dr. Anders Peterson for his guidance and his suggestions for surgeon's and physical therapist to assist in my recovery. He never tries to rush me through the visit. I make full use of his patient portal and really appreciate his staff with getting my medications and getting messages to him. You do a great job Dr. Peterson and you are a credit to your profession. I hope I can continue to have you as my PCP for many years to come. Thank You, and God Bless you and your family.

Dr Peterson is hands down the best Dr I have met. His bedside manner is incredible. I love how he listens and takes time with his patients.

Had to show up 915 for 10 AM appt to fill out new patient paperwork. I think there is an opportunity to do new patient info online and just verify when you arrive. The process itself went smoothly though. I did get into exam room on time but then waited 30-40 minutes for the doctor which was frustrating but maybe not unexpected for most doctors. Dr Petersen was very friendly and really got to know me. I've had various medical issues in the past, surgeries, etc, but nothing major now so he asked some good questions to get a better understanding of what to expect and what I should pay attention to. I may try to make earlier appointments in the future to avoid waits but very satisfied with the start of my care.
