Tennova Healthcare's Online Review Report Card

My father was an inpatient three times over a two and a half month period at Tennova Cleveland prior to his death on 10.14.2021. He could not have received more professional, kind and caring service than he did at Tennova. My father was not easily impressed, but he was very impressed and proud of all of the staff, but especially the ED, 2N, and fourth floor where he received care.Thank you Tennova for making my father's final days as comfortable as possible.

Went to tennova as an emergency delivery, ended up needing a c section due to tough labor. The staff were great, the whole labor and delivery team were very very sweet. All the nurses were super encouraging and turned my unexpected situation all the better with their care. My nurses in postpartum care were also super caring, answered all my questions and were 10/10.

I am very upset with this hospital. I had a kidney removed many years ago when it was Skyridge ( as well as 2 other surgeries) I loved hospital so much that when it came to my knee replacement I used same hospital many years later but under the name of Tennova. It’s the same building but not the same hospital. The nurses and staff where rude to myself and husband. I spent 1 overnight stay and next morning they had me up by 4 am rushing me out the door. We have private insurance and they were talking very loudly to 2 other patents who were on Medicare telling them that they can’t stay another day or night and they could get ahold of Medicare and appeal to stay. The night shift I believe is worse than the day shift. I have 2 other future operations ahead of me… I am thinking of looking at other options for hospital cause we didn’t see any hospitality or much care in this health care . I am very upset.

Emergency room had us wait over an hour. Crew was kind at first. Patient intake- was told when a room's available we'd see our loved one again. Waited so long, given no updates on my loved one, who I suddenly couldn't visit anymore when given a room. I had to keep asking front desk how they were doing, and every time I did it took hours just to get a proper response, and most of the staff was pretty rude about it. They just really didn't seem to care.Waited 12 hours worried sick until midnight just to be told rudely to go home without Really knowing how my loved one was doing.

The emergency room was terrible. It took 6.5 hour to get my husband's antibiotics going. Was there two hours before I found out it was pneumonia and then it took 4.5 hours to get it and that was only because I went out and was not nice about it. Asked several times for mouth swabs so he could wet his lips, and never received them. Asked one nurse where my husband's antibiotic were and she said she was going to check, never came back. That's when I lost it. Charge nurse and dr came in and proceeded to tell me that 6.5 was normal wait time and I told them that was bullshit and it wasn't my fault they were short handed. If our nurse had a critical patient, then someone should have been designated to check on her other patients and if they couldn't it would not have killed the dr who thought he was above anyone could have checked. It was amazing 15 minutes after the argument my husband got his antibiotics and was on his way upstairs. These doctors and nurses need to realize they r answerable to us and r not above answering questions. I have never seen such a bad emergency and hospital.

Don't have to wait as long as I use to pretty quick service, which I like had to call 911 last night guys thank you for reassuring me and making me feel better and explaining about my BP meds you guys rock🚑🚑🚑🚑🚑🚑🚑🚑 not to hard on the eyes either 🤣

Guess I'll just die next time I get sick. A couple hours and a couple pills in the E.R. cost $6,000.

Once again my experience with labour and delivery was everything and more than I hoped. The staff were so knowledgeable and extremely kind. Emily, Cheryl and Scarlet made my birth experience so easy and Sean made my first epidural not as scary as everyone else made it out to be. Overall I can truly say that Tennova labour and delivery is very professional, knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. I am very grateful to have had both my daughter there.
