Walter Rucker's Online Review Report Card

I had been seeing the dr and loving him for well over a year. I even got my husband to see him. Flash to last week when I needed to reschedule appoint due to fathers passing away. The office person was very cold and didn't want to give me two appoints, one for bloodwork and one to see the dr. They wanted me to have no food or drink from 4am-11am. I asked to come in early for bloodwork and come at 11 to see Dr. She said I couldn't and hung up. I called back only to be put on phone with office manager who was not kind and very rough. No empathy for the death, not wanting to cooperate. I begged to speak to the dr saying that surely the Dr wouldn't speak to me that way. The office manager told me not to tell her how the Dr is...she knows. I begged to speak to the Dr, she said he wouldn't and hung up. She then went to the dr qnd told him I was unruly and he sent me a letter saying he never wanted to see me again. He refused to listen to my side. I thought he was a strong, Christian man, but even Jeffrey Dahmer was a Christian. I had called back the next day to schedule an appoint (before I knew about the letter) and waited in waiting room. The office manager came out and humiliated me in the lobby telling me he refused to see me. I asked if he would listen to my side but she said she had already told him what happened and he didn't need my side. I was crushed as I thought I found my forever PCP. He was lovely but after the hell his office put me thru, right after losing our father, I don't recommend him to anyone I know. I was treated cruelly and humiliated and embarassed and now have to go thru the process of finding a new dr but after this...I am terrified to. If you are sensitive and need compassion or recently lose a loved one....do NOT seek this man or his hell hounds in the office. They are cruel and will make you feel worse. I was broken hearted, now...I just want to warn everyone against going thru what I went thru.

Dr. Rucker genuinely cares about his patients and takes the time to listen and makes sure I'm able to talk to him about whatever I need to. He also take the time to explain everything in as much detail as needed. Such a great guy! My only complaint would be that it's kind of hard to get an appointment on short notice but that seems to be the case everywhere.

Professional, takes all of the time I need to explain and answer questions, timely, friendly. I greatly appreciate and respect everyone in the practice. Perfect family practice

I've been seeing Dr Rucker for 10+ years. He and his staff are great to work with. He/they listen which is most important to me. Does not prescribe pills just for the sake of prescribing and is very thorough when prescribing new meds. You would be hard-pressed to find a more caring group of medical professionals.

Dr. Rucker is the best. He takes time to hear my concerns and is very knowledgeable. He genuinely cares for his patients.

Truly a kind and good man. Never judgmental and so willing to really help you. Tell people he's the best all the time and made my fiance start going to him after him not going to a doctor for years and years. He wants to help you whatever that takes and really listens and understands what you say helps and doesn't and doesn't brush you off at all.

Great experience so far with Dr. Rucker and his staff. Really nice office, clean, and recently renovated.

My husband and I both see Dr. Rucker. I can 100% say I will never go to another primary doctor as long as Dr. Rucker is still here. He is honest, kind, and so friendly. So thankful for him and his staff.

I found him to be thorough and careful on the analysis and diagnosis. Kind and caring...

I visited Dr. Rucker for a common problem. He not only diagnosed my problem, but also identified other potential issues for me to consider. And those items resolved in just the way Dr. Rucker said they would resolve. Dr. Rucker is a genuinely kind man. I trust him as a clinician and as a person.
