Carol Broadway's Online Review Report Card

I have loved past experiences with Columbia pediatrics so I hate to give this poor review. This is solely because the doctor they employ Dr Anthony Smith was absolutely rude condescending and lacked really any sort of care for our concerns today as we took our son in. He had been throwing up and a 103° fever randomly falling asleep and not wanting to move. Essentially told my wife “you don’t worry about fevers” and asked if it was his first time being sick insinuating we were overreacting. She asked to double check about a few things and he said things like “I wouldn’t have told you that already if I didn’t mean it” and things like that. Terrible bedside manner.This Doctor has many poor reviews on his personal medical review pages so I am NOT the only one with these experiences. Columbia pediatrics needs to address this glaring ongoing issue moving forward as it’s obvious it’s a reoccurring theme with him.

I have been taking my boys here for years and up until now they have been pretty good with them. I took my son on sept 202021 to go get a couples tests done rsv and covid. the doctor came back in and said his covid test was positive. no big deal went through the process of going getting my oldest child from school and start quarenting . wellll forward to today when i have been asking them to send a copy of my younger sons covid results to the school. I called again because the school had emailed me asking me again. medical records says oh we only have a negative test on file when the doctor told me positive and told me my kids would need retested on october 10th my younger sons birthday. so now i have been waiting over an hour for the nurse to call me back to fix this because not only has is made me pull my oldest out of schoolbut made the school have to delay getting my son the speech therapy he needs.

I’ve always used them and the staff has always been super friendly and helpful until today the receptionist wasn’t friendly at all and was halfway rude. The wait times have been tolerable because the staff was so friendly not looking too good anymore. Long wait times and a rude receptionist 😒

Dr. Powers is amazing kind and listens to my concerns . Front desk women are amazing. Nurses who have to deal with my screaming kiddos every single time are amazing. I’ve been coming here 5 years and have never had a bad experience. They have handled the Covid restrictions wonderfully and always fit us in. I travel 45 minutes just to get to them and it’s well worth it

Friendly staff. Hardly ever a long wait and Dr. Broadway is always friendly and upbeat

The staff is really friendly and always greets you with a smile. Dr. Tucker is amazing and really good with my little one she answers all my questions and goes above and beyond to explain and to give advice on different things.

Long waits 2hrs with newborn appointments. Front desk is confused and no public friendliness whatsoever. Had 3 appointments with same experience and will never return.

Dr. Tucker and the staff are always very sweet. Dr. Tucker will answer all of your questions and doesn’t make you feel dismissed. We have loved the care we receive.

The scheduling at this place is terrible. You book a 10 am appointment only to wait over an hour before getting called back then even longer in the room. Even after politely asking what is the hold up there are no updates.

Poor communication on scheduling please fix times during covid so familys dont sit in the heat thinking you guys close at 11 on sats thanks
