Horrible experience! I arrived at 1:00 for a 1:10 appointment. I was checked in at 1:30 and told that all the treatment rooms were occupied and there were several in the waiting area ahead of me. I asked the woman who was checking me in how long my wait would be and was informed that there was no way of ascertaining the time. I asked her how many were in the treatment rooms and she summoned her apparent manager. I was told (rather indignantly) that I would just have to wait and it may be an hour or more. I left and called a doctor in Florence AL which is about as close as Columbia to me. If a physician can’t or doesn’t run their practice any better than this…well… I surely would not entrust major surgery to him or his staff. Dr McCall in this practice has always seem me promptly and performed a TKR with great results. Dr Loftis has a separate waiting area, different staff, etc and they are the ones that were terrible.

Dr Loftis took all the time necessary to answer questions and provide explanations for my care. Highly recommend him, and happy to have him as part of the Columbia community!

Dr. Loftis was respectful and open-minded. I was hoping to hear more about stem cell therapy, and I was not interested in steroids. I will let him know about my stem cell therapy after that and physical therapy.

Dr. Loftis is was very thorough and knowledgeable when my teenage son hurt his knee. We were able to go straight from the office visit to get an MRI done and had a follow up appointment the next business day.

Dr. Loftis did reverse shoulder replacement surgery. Surprisingly the pain afterwards wasn’t as bad as I expected. He is a great Dr. I would recommend anyone who needs to to visit him.

Dr. Loftis is great. He has explained everything to me that is going to take place during and after my upcoming surgery. He was very patient and thorough when addressing any questions that I had. I just had Achilles tendon surgery at this same office in September of 2022. Dr. Randall Davidson did an excellent job so I feel Dr. Loftis will do the same. I love the service I have received and the staff are so friendly. I won't go anywhere else.

Dr. Loftis performed a full reversal replacement on my left shoulder and I was totally surprised not having hardly any pain with this process, only took pain meds for 2 days after surgery. Dr Loftis has a great personality and he will lay everything on the table. He will tell you what to expect and what your options are with your procedure. In the future if my right shoulder gives me problems, I will definitely go to him and I will not hesitate if it needs replaced also.
