List of Earl Parrott's Reviews
Dr. Parrott and Mary Cox, are the most understanding and profession psychiatrist and therapist I have found in this area through endless searching with nothing but hopeless results, they are great and just talking with them I leave in a much better mood and some since of direction, I am so very glad I found them! And the staff are very sweet and patient with all my confusing paperwork.
Started seeing him 17 years ago. Found another Dr. when I discovered he told others what I had discussed with him. The others were not affiliated in any way with psychiatry.
My appointment was at 2:00pm and I'm still in the waiting room at 3:40pm! This is ridiculous. Absolutely abusive to require patients to wait this long. Also, I've been the ONLY one who continues to wait. I got here 15 minutes early, as the paperwork said to do. I respect their time, then they don't have strong enough boundaries to respect their patient's time. Absolutely in-called for...
I have been very pleased with my care! He is down to earth and very kind! He listens and cares!he is often to long with his patients but he doesn't let you leave until you feel better or all of your scripts are filled and enoughmedication to get you through until your next visit! I couldn't have overcome all the overwhelming troubles I have had! He started seeing me 2 years after losing my son to a horrific work accident! I had a nervous breakdown and he gave me reason to live!
Dr. Parrott has always helped me to find the correct treatment after every medical relapse and keep me healthy while I'm in remission. He listens and asks all needed questions to pinpoint how I feel. I depend on Dr. Parrott to keep me mentally healthy.
I have been seeing Dr. Parrot for over a year. I never enjoyed the visits but because of insurance purposes I ended up seeing him. The biggest complaint I have had is the wait to see him was always over an hour almost two hours for. This was every time. Even when I made sure to be his first appt of the day I had to wait 45 minutes. He has no time management skills or respect for the patient waiting. Whilst talking with him he would be full of non sequiturs and almost nonsense. I felt no respect.
I have been seeing Dr. Parrot for over a year. I have never liked the experience but continued to go because of insurance reasons. Every time I went there was an absurd waiting time. between 1-2 hours of waiting. I even scheduled my appt as his earliest one time and still waited 45 minutes. The last time I scheduled I drove from work to see him him, which was an hour, for a four pm appt and waited until 545 and was still not seen. I left at that point. I have a family I would like to spend time with an other obligations. He is disrespectful of his patient's time. When I was in the office with him he was full of non sequiturs and sometimes just nonsense. He showed no empathy or really explained any kind of diagnosis. He was akward and not helpful. I continued to see him because I wanted to continue on my anti depressants. I will be seeing another psychiatrist from now on and suggest you do the same. I have two masters and am a full time employee with a family.
Great Dr. very caring and easy to talk with. He listens and wants to help.
Wait time was lengthy but the visit was great and very thorough. I would not want a MD to rush through my appointment.
Dr. Parrott has opened his own practice across from Columbia Academy. Less stress and friendly office staff (Unlike Family Therapy Center). Definitely would recommend.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
