I’ve tried other psychiatrists in the past. This doctor is the first one who’s been able to help me. Wish I’d come to him years ago. Office staff was helpful. My wife and I really like his nurse who is so sweet. He was on time and answered all my questions. Hope he stays as other doctors seem to come and go.

When you have a crisis you have to wait for his timing.He doesn't talk about treatment options and goals with you he makes notes then he tells you what to do but does not talk about how to do this or why to do this. He doesn't explain medication . All ofwhich is unethical and against patient rights and code of ethics. He acts like he is burned out

horrible-so called dr. prescribes medication that doesn't work for me-refuses to prescribe medications that work for me. look elsewhere for a good doctor.

Dr. Leftwich cut me off of Klonopin that I had been on for 19 years, cold turkey. I have had terrible side effects, unable to sleep and my PTDS has been exacerbated from withdrawals from the medication. I have met with him and asked for him to wean me off properly but he refused to do anything. He is a terrible excuse for a doctor and a danger to anyone suffering from PTSD. I asked for some type of sleeping medication or anything else to help me wean but he refused!
