I would not recommend. Saw him at the ER in Jamestown. I have chronic migraines and after waiting three hours in the waiting room on the verge of passing out then another hour to get the shot to stop it was told I could not come back if I had another migraine. I have known this man for 25 years and he is completely against drugs. He thinks anyone coming to him for any kind of pain is drug seeking. I never asked for a thing other than a shot to stop the headache.
Very unprofessional thinks anyone there for any kind of pain is drug seeking.
ER dr. on duty 6/11/16. My pain level from a kidney stone that wasn't addressed properly from the evening before when I was released by Dr. Winder @ the unbearable level of 10 and crying hysterically. No compassion. He argued with my husband. He quoted statistics of how many people fake kidney stones even after explaining my EXTENSIVE history of stones. Because I asked for a specific drug and had no blood in my urine, I lie. He called my urologist in Crossville. I wasn't lying. He's a jerk.
I have been seeing Dr.Clapp for a long time and had no problems with his service. Nor no problems with his staff. He save my life many times. I wish he was not leaving, I'm very proud he was my doctor. Phillip Geer!
He was on call for my Dr over the weekend. When he finally called, he was rude and not helpful at all. It seemed like I was inconveniencing him. I would definitely NOT recommend him as a physician.
consistently keeps patients waiting for HOURS

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
