I went to Dr.Gurnt because I had a miscarriage and before that I had very irregular periods and when I got them I would be sick and have very bad cramping and wanted to be tested for endometriosis, Pcos or anything else. After I told her about the miscarriage and how at first I thought I had passed a massive blood clot she said “that’s normal and most women pass a blood clot the size of a soft ball” she ran test and never talked to her again didn’t even tell me what the test said. And overall everyone was very rude.

She let my baby die almost 3 years ago. I went into the hospital for reduced movement and high blood sugars. I was taken as a joke. I told them my insulin pump ran out of insulin, they waited over 4 hours, after letting my baby die to finally give me insulin. Mind you they even told me they had a heartbeat on her but she was struggling, instead of taking her out or even transferring me to Vanderbilt because in Dr. Gernt words “we’re not equipt for premies” whenever I was 31 weeks and my baby was already 5lbs and passed all her tests had she been born prematurely. Unless your her actual patient, Gernt could care less about you. We filed a law suit, and come to find out she has had MANY come her way because of the negligence she does.

I was referred here today by my dr, and I'm so glad I was. I had no issues on the phone or with returned phone calls, and no issues with the front office ladies. They were all so welcoming, and for once I had a drs visit today where my BP wasn't through the roof lol. Dr Gernt as soon as she walks in the room lights up the room, she's very caring and understanding. I had a great visit today, they also got me in super quick.

We recently moved to cookeville, and I just found out i'm pregnant again. I've been looking at reviews for different doctors, and after reviewing this office I probably wont go here. Just from reading the review the office staff seem very rude, and that is rediculous! dont be in customer service if you cannot do your job well. And shame on the ones who hired and keep them on.

Excellent Patient Care I have been a patient of Dr. Gernt's for over 16 years. She truly cares about her patients and their well-being. Easy to talk to and understand. Excellent surgeon with very good bedside manner.

Dr. Gernt is by far the best obgyn I’ve ever had. After have infertility problems and her doing everything she could think of to see what was going on with me she made a plan and got me to have my miracle baby. She also stayed the night at the hospital after a hard labor just to make sure I was fine and checked on me that morning before she left. I will forever recommend her and her staff to anyone.
