List of David Pritchard's Reviews
Dr. Pritchard is the one doctor my husband actually trusts. My husband can be very stubborn about not going to the doctor nor following doctors recommendations. However, Dr. Pritchard has excellent bedside manner and communicates with my husband in a way that he understands. To my surprise, my husband has been diligent to follow doctors orders and is showing improvement in his symptoms. I am so thankful we were referred to Dr. Pritchard after not have any success with the other 2 doctors we were sent to. I highly recommend Dr. Pritchard. He truly cares and takes time to listen and communicate.
Dr. Pritchard is an excellent physician. He found a rare brain disease I have that I don’t think any other doctors would have taken the time to look for or explain clearly to me.
Dr. Pritchard and Staff us the best Neurology Clinic. Everyone is friendly and most helpful and you do get a follow up call from Dr. Prichard and Nurse Kim. Happy Holidays
ive seen dr pritchard for several years but sense he has gotten a new nurse who dont know how to code so your insurance will pay for test he wants to run you will be held paying the bill, all she knows how to say is well you signed to have the test ran and if your insurance wont pay thats on you, in todays world 2 blood test cost me 278 dollars but he will not get another dollar from me,
I highly recommend Dr Pritchard. I went to him after going to several other neuros here in Memphis, and basically being told yes, there’s something wrong with you but we don’t won’t to spend the time or effort to figure it out. My first appointment with Dr Pritchard was in Jan 2017. He asked me to provide him with all my medical records from any doctor I had seen in the past 2-3 years for any reason, including eye and dentist. He found a note in my eye dr about the eye muscles, and because I was having double vision episodes, he sent me to Southern College of Optometry. Long story short, he’s diagnosed me with a rare condition that’s been confirmed. Those other doctors couldn’t be bothered to do a full review or all the simple but repetitive testing, along with working with the SCO. MG isn’t life threatening, but untreated, it does affect quality of life. Now my appoint are very quick, with no talking because he’s using that time to help others, like he helped me.
I came to Dr. Pritchard after being seen by another Neurologist that would not take the time to listen to me explain my symptoms fully. Dr. Pritchard is an excellent doctor who truly cares for his patients. He has a warm personality and takes time to listen to his patients. He has done wonders to help me have a better quality of life. I owe him a huge thank you and recommend him highly to others looking for a Neurologistthat truly cares!
Dr. Pritchard is very knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. He is warm, friendly, and he has never made us feel rushed. The first appointment I brought my Dad too he was so re-assuring that it immediately put my Dad at ease. We are so grateful for the care her has provided my Dad with Dementia. I saw one review mention about a possible car accident and refusal to treat. As a person that works in healthcare myself in the rehab setting, I know that finding that our is frustrating, but I know it is true that only certain physician clinics and certain rehab facilities take patients who have pain due to (or possibly due to) an accident. Companies/ Clinics have certain policies in place regarding this. This is just due to the nature of how our healthcare and legal system is set up. All this to say, I have highly recommended Dr. Pritchard to several of my friends and they too have also had great experiences with him. A++
I have night terrors. Recently, I woke up in hysterics @ 2 a.m. from the worst night terror I've ever. had, My wife & I didn't know what to do. We called the after hours service for help. Dr Pritchard called back . He proceeded to scold my wife for calling and waking him up, saying the after hours service is for emergencies only It took 15 minutes for my wife to calm me down from the horrific night terror. I was very upset, and to me, this was an emergency. Dr Pritchard was rude and uncaring
I had an appointment to see Dr. Pritchard. The receptionist asked did you see statement "The NEUROLOGY CLINIC PC DOES NOT TREAT PATIENTS WITH INJURIES OR SYMPTOMS DUE TO A WORK INJURY OR AUTO ACCIDENT?" I said "yes but I am not sure if my pain is from an accident I had last year. I have been hurting since March and only reason I think it may be from an accident is because my PT asked if I had any injury to my neck which I did from accident." Then she asked if I had an attorney? I said "yes but he did not send. I am trying to find out why I am hurting... is it something I did, naturally occurring or from accident." Long story short, after speaking with Dr. Pritchard she informs me he will not see me and I need to see my Primary Care Doctor for a referral to Neurology who handles accident cases. Now that's the problem I have; I did not ask him to participate in my suite, I was simply looking for answers as to why I have hurting since March even after 2 months of PT. I thought doctors took an oath to treat patients. What difference does it make what cause the pain (injury).
My wife was seen by Dr. David Pritchard in February 2017. My wife calls his clinic daily and they never returned her call. Last we heard, my wifes note to Dr. Pritchard that the note to call her is sitting on his desk. Now its March 16th, still no diagnoses. Save yourself some trouble and go to Memphis Neurology. Much better staff and returns calls.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
