He is probably the worst doctor I have ever encountered, rude, impatient, judgemental, no compassion, didn't seem to have a clue what the problem was. As his (briefly) patient I was traumatized, as an RN I would hate to work with him in any capacity.

He wrote my symptoms off as depression. And, you know what? Five years later I'm seeing an LLMD for Lyme disease.

I was trying to explain all my recent medical visits or all the doctors I had been to for my low back issues and how recently and prior to the medicines I had been taking that I had a serious case of ADD- Anyway he wrote it off on all the medicines that Im currently taking and then told me that I was depressed because I have a lot to be depressed about. Also if I change jobs many of my problems would go away. Well surprise, surprise- Can we overstate the obvious!! Dont we all wish we could change jobs. I was thinking beachcomber could be my new profession -very low stress!

I had been to 3 doctors prior to my visit with him and he diagnosed me with such care and with the proper diagnosis. He did not write me off as a lost cause. Truly took the time to care and figure out what was wrong! Saved my life!

Dr. Vasu is fantastic! You may not like what he has to say, but he is very knowledgable, will visit with you and ask questions, and truly cares about your well-being. Although his patients are primarily older, he treats me with utmost respect and kindness. He also has sent me literature regarding topics I discussed with him. If you need a great neurologist -- see him!
