Kind and caring doctor. I've been going to him for years. The staff is always cheerful and welcoming.

I've been going to Dr Holston for about 3 to 4 years now . Dr Holston has been very great to me , always concerned about my health , always gracious to see me , always on point with referrals , and always makes sure I'm takin care of.

They say they don't care about none of their patients well being or health

This man has just about killed my father. He went in for a headache lasting 3 weeks with a stiff neck. My dad complained of neck stiffness and blurred vision. He sent him home with a steroid pack and did NO imaging. He is currently in the ICU because of this doctors careless actions. He has had blood on his brain for 3 WEEKS, has a 50/50 chance of survival right now. I am BEYOND disgusted with his poor care from this doctor. DO not send your loved ones to this man. He does not care!!!!!

Insulting and rude, I needed a new dr cause mine had passed away. He told me I was to high risk cause I suffered from depression & anxiety, he got very angry told me I needed to look else where. I wish my mother would stop seeing, she is a diabetic but he never does blood work to see if she needs to be on the right meds or not! He is a total jerk!

LISTEN TO ME. I am 19 years old and i suffer from PANCREATIC CANCER. My organs are shutting down, i have been in and out of the hospital since i was 16. He was assigned to me. ALL I NEEDED was a REFERRAL to see a specialist and he DENIED ME. BECAUSE I REFUSE TO TAKE PILLS. He proceeded to get rude with me because i told him i have seen what pills do to people. He kicked me out and told me to find a new doctor. The STATE of TENNESSEE is the #1 place in the WORLD for DEATHS BY OVER COUNTER PRESCRIPTION DRUGS. Put an END to IT PLEASE.

I went to this doctor today for the first time because my last physician moved away. Robert Holston was ASSIGNED TO ME by my insurance as my PCP. I am currently filing for disability because of a brain injury that occurred from a stroke. I was on life support for 10’days, and in the hospital for a month, and I needed a Doctors Opinion form filled out. I DIDN’T NEED MEDS of any kind, all I needed was AN OPINION. I brought in all of my medical records, and medications. I see a neurologist and a pain clinic every month for medications, but I am required to have a general physician for my case. Again, he was ASSIGNED TO ME by Cigna. Again, I didn’t need anything but his opinion. That’s it! This quack walked into the room and looked at me and said he was “refusing my case.” I asked him if he could explain why, and his exact words were, “You can ask but I won’t tell you. I don’t have to explain myself!” He was hateful and condescending. When I pressed him for an answer he replied, “DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THE SENTENCE ‘NO?’ I’ve never been treated so poorly, so hatefully by a doctor in all my life!!! Again, all I needed was an opinion! I told him I was going to report him, and and our encounter, and he said, “I don’t care if you report it to the world!” So that’s what I’m doing. Yes I was hateful BACK to him. I was steaming mad and he had the nerve to ask me why I was being that way!!! He deserved much worse! I have already filed two formal complaints with the state of TN medical board, and with Cigna, and I’m just getting started! Stay away from this guy! He doesn’t care about people and he’s not afraid to tell you he doesn’t care! I have never done a google review before, but I had to warn you about him. I would give him -5 stars if I could.

I used to see doctor Houston from 12 years old 18 years old moved awaymoved back to Nashville had a problem with my primary care doctor decided to go see doctor holston because of the previous 12 to 18 years oldmoved tell him I've been having back problems since I fell off a roof about 12 years ago and they've only gradually gotten worse he did not even look at my back request an MRI or x-ray or even drug test me and decided I just had heartburn and that I was bullshiting about my back wrote me out Motrin and before I could even say just go ahead and refer me to a back specialist because I was refusing Motrin because I've been eating over the counter painkillers and I'm not going to pay $30 or even let my insurance pay $30 for something that I can get over the counterhe did not even let me finish what I was saying about the Motrin before he started questioning me why I didn't want itbut what I was getting to is it's fine if you don't want to prescribe me medicine I really only came for a referral even told the staff when I called for an appointment that's what I needed he dismissed me without no testing very unprofessional unprofessional
