I would highly recommend Dr. Barton. He is an exceptional surgeon and an even better human being! He has wonderful staff around him and they provide excellent care!! He did surgery on my shoulder and I will always be forever grateful!!

I did not have to wait to see him. A doctor in Cookeville really messed up my shoulder and Dr Barton was willing to fix the major mistake make by a fellow Orthopedics. I tell my friends he is the one to Dee.

My wife fell on the ice and fractured her wrist. Got an appointment with Dr. Barton and he did surgery the next day. This doctor is one of the most professional men I have ever run across. He was very good at explaining how the surgery needed to be done and very precise on what he would have to do and what to expect. I would definitely recommend this doctor.

Dr. Barton is great and so is his staff. They made sure we had all the information we needed and took great care of my daughter. She is still recovering from ACL surgery but I have complete confidence that she will recover fully. I highly recommend Dr. Barton.

Dr. Barton and the staff at Cumberland Orthopedics are the very best. With exceptional skills in carpal tunnel release surgery, Dr. Barton cured the numbness and pain in my left hand. Before surgery I was living with extreme numbness and pain 24/7. Now I can function without pain and discomfort. Thank you Dr. Barton for taking such good care of me.

Dr told me I would definitely need a complete shoulder replacement after looking at the xrays. Then turned around in the same sentence and said he wouldn’t even consider doing it for another 10-15 years. He wanted to give me a steroid shot every 4 to 6 months to mask the pain. I went for a second opinion and will be getting a partial replacement. I would not recommend or go back.
