I do not recommend you taking a loved one here, EVER. My grandfather fell and broke his hip. He suffers with Alzheimer’s disease and we made sure all staff was aware of this. An ER nurse asked him to sign paperwork for his procedure for the hip replacement and gave attitude to my grandfather who did not understand what was going on and it a lot of pain. Sonia was her name and she rolled her eyes and huffed obnoxiously loud after asking 4-5 times the same thing and becoming frustrated with him, I took over helping him get paperwork signed. She was so rude and as I understand medical staff is overwork there is no reason for this person to work in a medical field with an unprofessional attitude. After my grandfather was discharged to a local rehab facility the physical therapist was confused why he didn’t have a splint for his leg. We contacted the hospital and they had no idea what we talked about. They physiatrist read the report back to me and it started my grandfather had a splint measured to his size at the hospital. Nobody has a clue what I’m even talking about, and now this will hinder my grandfather from walking as he should. This hospital was so unprofessional and I am appalled as they don’t seem to care at all about anyone. Please take your family anywhere else, everyone that works here is clueless and rude and unprofessional.
I developed type 2 diabetes and for 2 years they told me it was “Covid” .within a month of being in a more developed state they discovered I had diabetes after going into a coma. There’s some good nurses and doctors there but the bald male nurse on intake almost killed me by being incompetent. How do you take a blood sample and not know I have diabetes? My blood sugar was over 400 when I went into my SECOND coma. Don’t go here go to Knox or Nash
I fell Sunday and did some heavy damage to my face. My daughter took me to Cumberland Medical Center. The ER was extremely busy but they took me back immediately for vitals, etc and then straight to imaging for a scan. After that we waited in the ER for several hours. I Could see they were very busy so we just waited our turn. They had asked me about pain but I declined any meds since I hadn't seen a doctor yet. After several hours we were taken back into the emergency dept and I was examined and referred to a surgeon. Many folks have no idea how busy emergency rooms are these days and how short they are of nurses and other staff. The ER was very clean and exam room immaculate, the doctors, nurses and other staff I saw were very nice and I have no complaints. I waited 17 hours in the er at Erlanger once and still wasn't seen and had to be transported by ambulance to a different hospital near Nashville. It's tough on hospitals these days but Cumberland does a good job with good employees and Drs. I'm grateful to have such a place to turn to in an emergency.
A complete joke. After 7 hours in the waiting room with a blood clot we were still never seen. We left to go to another hospital. A hospital shouldn’t be doing more harm than good. And I see all the “thank you for your feedback” replies from this organization which I find comical because after all of these poor reviews, they obviously aren’t doing anything about it.
We go there for testing and the people have been amazing with my daughter and bf. They love to make you feel like your at home especially during long scans. We enjoy going there! The Customer service desk people are super friendly and the staff are great!
Waited over 5 hrs in the emergency room. Had intense pain in side and back. Still waiting to see a Dr. It's no wonder, whenever possible, people in crossville go to cookeville.
Self-admitted to ER with just physical pain, was not receiving very good care, decided to check myself out. Four guys held me down, strapped me to a bed by my hands feet and chest, and one even elbowed me to the throat. I wasn't upset much until then and they literally held me against my will and physically assaulted me. Never would I ever come near this place again and would not be surprised if they truly hurt someone.
I honestly don't know were to start. To have to go out of town to get care is sad. The waiting time is out of this world. It is worse than the DMV! I have encountered some rude employees there and I have met a few that really stand out but the others overshadow them. My overall experience with this hospital has been very disappointing. They don't even have a wing for children but they have a whole wing unused. We have a nice hospital they just need to step up their game. I no longer go to this hospital. I drive out of town. The last time I went I couldn't breath, it took everything in me to get a breath and I sat there for 4 hours before my friend took me to Vanderbilt where they took me back the moment I walked in. Please do better!
Set here 10 hours and watch others come in an go right back because they have money and that is all this place cares about the more money you have means faster and better care would have been better off going to the Jamestown hospital
Omg I feel so much better omg @miss I don't know she fixed I feel so much better her name was Sophia omg omg omg

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
