Does not listen to your health concerns. Refuses to re-run blood work even with super obvious disease symptoms, refuses to discuss medical options to treat obesity along with life style changes, refuses to prescribe antibiotics with obvious signs of current infection and past history of chronic infection and takes a wait and see approach, when you become frustrated and tell her she is not hearing your health concerns she will end your appointment and walk about of the room. Worst bedside manor ever. Wouldn’t recommend ANYONE in this practice but especially NOT this dr.

Horrible bedside manner, will not take your health concerns seriously. I had to get a 2nd opinion on 2 health concerns that she absolutely refused to address due to 3 mo old lab work, I have the disease state I was begging her to retest for. If you are an obese patient do not waste your time she absolutely will not view you as an actual person, and tell you to move more and eat less and all of your health issues (even infection apparently since antibiotics were refused ) can be cured by those 2 things.

Dr Boyanton actually began walking out of the exam room as I was asking a question. She nor CVS told me my prolia injection was going to cost me $500 after what the insurance paid. I would have opted for a different treatment had I known that. She may be a good doctor, but those types of experiences made me change doctors.

Withholds life saving Blood pressure meds to play games..Forces unneeded visits for cash grabs, instead of just filling prescriptions...Waits at office LONG waaaaaay past appt times..Then has attitutde when you mention it..Then just to show you to keep quiet announces even more hoops to jump thru next time if you want to recieve BP medication to survive..I would not refer this Doctor to my cat..

No I would not recommend. Dr's assistant has an attitude and very defensive. She did not provide courteous reply to questions and basically no help. Very unprofessional. Their referral office is poor, they referred us to the wrong specialist. I will find another primary care doctor.

Dr. Lia Boyanton has been my doctor every since I moved here to Winchester, over 3 yrs. I have fond her to be more then just a doctor. She makes you feel like part of the family. As does her staff. Questions are ways answered, issues are always address. If she does not ave the answer she sends you to the specialist who does. Sorry to see her go, it will be very hard o fill her shoes.
