Didn't take long to get blood work done
ER visit = 3 hrs and nothing. Pushed us off to Chatt.
Didn't do bloodwork and missed a serious potentiality life threatening condition
I am grateful our small county has a hospital, but our recent experience here was alarming. I have a lot to say, but I will just mention the most unprofessional moment.I was at the hospital with my 88 year old grandfather who suffers from dementia. I mentioned this to Amy, our case manager, but she ignored this information. She was really pushing outpatient services, but did not provide any specific information about it. I said I would need to talk to my mom (her and my father are the POT). But I mentioned that we are currently able to take care of his needs.Later, while I was gone for lunch, she had my grandfather sign paperwork agreeing to the services that she had mentioned. When I returned, she brought the signed documents to me. I then asked why she had him sign legal documents, even though I informed her that he suffers from dementia. She rudely shrugged her shoulders and said it is up to the doctor. I asked which doctor and she just left the room. If me saying he has dementia isn't enough, she should have asked for further information or proof of POT.Later my mom called to ask why she did this, and her response was, "He seemed fine to me." Yes, he handles his dementia well, but any attentive person who spends more than 5 minutes with him can see that he has dementia. Instead of listening to me, the current caretaker of my grandfather, she neglected what I said and only seemed interested in billing my grandfather's insurance for a service he doesn't currently need. This seems illegal to me.I would not leave my elderly loved ones there alone.
Dr. Eason has taken care of myself for a med reaction, and my young son for a very scary food allergy reaction. Both times Dr. Eason, (along with other staff members) was kind, professional and reassuring. In regards to my son's visit, I alerted the front desk that I administered epinephrine prior to arriving and was worried about the drug not being long-lasting. They quickly pulled us back and treated my son quickly and appropriately.
My husband had a heart attack and I took him to Rhea ER. He never sat down as the took him straight back and 3 people went right to work on him. Dr Samuel came and watched the monitor as he was hooked up, vitals taken and 2 IVs started. His ekg revealed MI so with in minutes they had both heparin drip and nitroglycerin drip going. Shortly the monitor showed bundle branch block had disappeared. The reestablished blood flow to the heart muscle. They transferred him to Chattanooga where I was told that none of his heart muscles had damage from no blood flow. He did have to have open heart surgery but DR Samuel and the ER team saved him from a catastrophe. Thank you.
My mom went into the hospital with covid and they took such good care of her. I was aloud to see her and they aloud me to drop stuff off for her. They kept me updated multiple time a day or I could call them anytime and not once did I feel like I was a burden to them. My mom got to come home today after for several days thank y'all for saving my mom life.
They kept my parent for no reason
We were just up at the E.R tonight with my dad...have to say not very happy with the people out front ...A nurse told mom she could wait in the lobby...for news on dad...so when I come in the told the officer why I was there and he says your party is over there...so I go where they're....Well come to find out we were sitting in the area behind the white plastic and that area is used for covid patients and flu...NO signs up....No warnings other than the NO visitors...so lady on the A.m shift I presume registration to be seen by doc come over...says just to let you guys know this area is covid/flu area and we don't have a cleaning crew..on the weekend for this area...she says you guy can sit or not I don't care...just letting you know the sign outside says No visitors...so Mom tells her that Whatever nurse took dad in said she could be there and I told her the officer directed me this way to them...No one said anything to us that..that area was unsafe and unclean... they weren't even paying attention to us nor was the officer until the lady came over to us and I basically said that they should be sanitizing this area and have designated signs up telling you where you can and can't sit other than space 6 ft apart... So if we get covid....I am not going to be very happy about ...
Save your time and go somewhere else. No one here and still been waiting an hour and a half

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
