It wasn't what I planned for the day, but I ended up having an appendectomy under the skilled hands of Dr. Scott Kelsey. Before I even met him, when the nurses and other staff heard he was the surgeon on call, they all were telling me I was in the "best hands." Dr. Kelsey is very experienced, confident, compassionate, and easy to talk to. My surgery went well, even though he discovered once he got going that my appendix had already ruptured - what can I say, I've had an easy recovery and no complications. I trust Dr. Kelsey, and am thankful for what he did for me.

I would give Dr.Kelsey 100 stars if I could. If it wasnt for him and the good Lord above I wouldnt be here today. Another Dr., who shall remain nameless, botched a simple procedure and I almost died. Dr. Kelsey removed my ruptured spleen, I was in ICU in critical condition for 5 days. Dr. Kelsey was by far the nicest, most careing and deeply concerned Dr. I have ever seen. This man is truly my hero and I cant say enough good about him.
