I have had pancreatitis for my whole life, it’s hereditary for me, having had my first attack when I was 5. Dr. Christina Oskins is the first doctor to take the time to listen to what I am feeling. I am normally met with “are you sure you have pancreatitis? you’re so young.” She was incredibly empathic to my feelings and past experiences with doctors. At the end of my appointment she made sure to ask what else I expected out of my appointment and if I had any questions. I let her know I was hospitalized in October (2022) and could not get in to see my GI doctor until December, but that I was still in a lot of pain. She and I worked out a plan together. Several days later, and I am feeling better than I have in YEARS. This was only my first appointment, but I am looking forward to getting my health back on track thanks to Dr. Christina Oskins.

Dr. Oskins made me feel rushed through the appointment, prescribed medication I told her I would not take, did not renew medications from my previous provider despite explaining to her that I had tried other medications that were not effective. She did not seem interested in my input for my treatment.
