I think this hospital needs some serious policy changes. It is too easy lose your rights and then they send you wherever they want. These policies are communistic. The patient and their family has a right to be involved in their treatment. My mom was held hostage for a week no contact whatsoever to family or friends not allowed to call anybody. Finally after we threatened to contact the news and our family attorney. She was released. These people have no right calling themselves an American establishment.

I have always been treated well here. I recently had a laceration on my hand that needed stitches. The nurses were awesome despite how busy they were and the doctor did a very neat job closing the laceration. Theres barely a scar. Nice people and a clean building.

Currently here now my nurse is not friendly Ive begged for a blanket my temp is 102.7 and she acts like Im unconvincing here I took a darn flu shot I didnt expect this

Worst experience today. My husband needed a CT scan. The nurse messed up his IV line in his right arm til the point of swelling and a burning sensation. So they stuck him in his left arm. The technician gave him contrast and it dripped all over him. I would not recommend this place if my life depended on it.

Nurses staff do more than the Drs.You call the hospital to check on someone and they cant find them nor can they tell you anything.We need a diverse selection of hospitals not the monopolistic Ballad Health.

Its overall a nice hospital and looks much better compared to the old one at the old location. The staff are friendly and do much to keep you comfortable. As long as its minor youll be taken care of. If its a major injury you may want to go to Johnson City Medical Center or Franklin Woods.

I am here in the ER in Unicoi County TN and let me tell you this is the most caring and fantastic place.I have been met with nothing but smiles and they have wonderful sense of humor. They really treat you soooooooo great. They are some of the most fantastic people. Please come here even if it takes a little longer to get here believe me it worth it.Theyre GREAT
