Brad E. Maltz's Online Review Report Card

Would not talk to me even for a short phone call after nurse assured me he would call. Front desk said since I was a patient of his I could not get an appointment for 6 months. New patients get to see him in less than a month. Also received email that ask me if I wanted to make appointment. Had no doctor name who ask for this appointment. It did have a phone number to call. I called and was told Dr. Maltz had refered me to a specialist. I was not told by anyone why or what this specialist was referred. I cancelled this referal Also I feel this doctor is the worst I’ve seen in over 60 years. This is the first time I have ever done a review. Hope it help to know.

My appointment was at 2:15 and I had to arrive at 12:45. I was getting discouraged as 3:00 rolled around and I hadn’t been called back yet. I was on the verge of just rescheduling, but I’m SO glad I didn’t!! His staff was so caring and he was too!!! I’m a scaredy cat when it comes to doctors, but he and his staff quickly put me at ease and my procedure went by quickly. Would definitely recommend this doctor and his team!

I was referred to Dr Maltz by my primary physician to check on a few problems I was having. I spent 30min waiting in an empty waiting room to see him. He spoke with me for maybe 5 min total, and only asked a few questions about a note my primary Dr made in my file 3 years before. Then suggested I get a very expensive procedure done just to check to see if anything was actually wrong. After our very brief visit I get a Bill for $465 for our very short conversation. I don’t recommend going to see Dr Maltz unless you just enjoy giving money to a Dr to do absolutely nothing.

My wife saw Dr. Maltz for an issue she has been dealing with for quite some time. First thing right off the bat scheduled my wife for an endoscopy. After the endoscopy procedure in the recovery room he took 15-20 seconds and told her he did not see anything, everything looked great, no ulcer but stated he took a biopsy to check for some type of bacterial infection. We asked a question regarding her issue, he did not really give an answer other than lets see what the biopsy results say and walked away (he did say bye). When the results came back we got a call from the nurse stating the result of the biopsy was negative. That's it. That's all she said. We asked about what is the next step, anything regarding what is causing her issue and she replied there were no notes in the chart. So we asked again what is the next step, should we make an appointment for a follow up and and again she replied there are no notes in the chart, basically saying please hang up. We messaged Dr. Maltz through email and again nothing. His nurse replied back with "take omeprazole daily". Nothing about make an appointment to discuss or talk about what may be happening, nothing in the sense of a plan of possible treatment. Definitely not a doctor that I would recommend. Maybe other patients had better luck, but we definitely did not.

Dr Maltz was very unfriendly. I had never met him before since I saw his nurse at the pre op visit. I felt like I was just a number and was not treated as a person or with any kindness. His nursing staff was unsuccessful in attempting to hook up my IV after 4 attempts. Finally his anesthesiologist did an ultra sound on my arm to find a good vein and she had success. I was in tears from the pain and my arm and hand is bruised and swollen.
