listened to me and was apt to assist me with my needs, as a great professional and very curtious giving me a peice of mind that I will receive the best help for my needs.

It was normal to wait 8 hours for my procedure. Sometimes I would wait for hours and when it was my turn he'd leave.

If he is actually back in TN and practicing, DO NOT SEE HIM! After back surgery my husband (who was himself a Registered Nurse) was sent to him for pain management. He had nurses who knew nothing about injections, he was high on drugs himself (you know he fled the area when it was discovered back in 2010!). Sometimes he just never showed up to work and the patients sat there and sat there. To the person who said, why do people keep going back... SERIOUSLY - if you live with someone who is in constant pain, you know why. The lack of professionals who understand and want to treat neurological disorders would be one thing. My husband got off meds on his own 3 years ago although he has arachnoiditis, which is like having the pain of a cancer patient. I thank Buddhism, not the medical community. I would give him 0 stars if the webpage let me. 1 is too high

My wife has severe back pain and went to the Tn. Spine and nerve center for many visits they did nothing to help her the injections were a waste of time and money she only saw a doctor twice in all the visits once on the first visit for 5 minutes and then both of us saw a doctor on the last visit for about 3-to 5 minutes and he said he was sorry they were unable to help, we were never told that all the doctors here are carpractors and can not prescribe any medication. DONT GO UNLESS YOU HAVE TIME AND MONEY TO WASTE.

When he left Pain Management Group, I left also, after 12 years as a patient. He was the only doctor there, since William Long, who had more of an interest in helping me manage my pain, than padding my bills with tests and procedures which were unnecessary, or repeat tests that had been ineffective in the past.Though I am classified as achieved MMI (maximum medical improvement)and do not require being seen personally by him, I have never been refused if I ask to speak with him. Even if he is doing procedures with other patients, he sees me as soon as he is available. In his case, the staff has always made me aware of this and given me the option of waiting or having him call me afterward.

The first time I went to see Dr. Erickson he did not even show up . I had driven over 150 miles to see him & after waiting almost 4 hours the Office staff informed me that he was not there. The gave me a drug test and charge my insurance company over $850 for a drug test that was administered by the secretary. The next time I went he did show up.but it took me over 6 hours to see him and he appeared to be on drugs himself b/c he just kept rambling on about drugs in my system which had been prescribed by my regular doctor. The way I look at it he should not be able to dictate what is in your system until you are in his program & then he can tell you what can and can't be in your system. He requires all his patients to see a psycologist prior to giving any medication. I had very good references to see Dr. Erickson, but after seeing him in person, I believe he is out for the almighty dollar & wants to bill your insurance company for as much as he can get. As for myself, I will never go back to him because of the way he treated me and how his staff belittles you by telling you on e thing and doing another. If you even listen to his recording on the phone they say that the more you call the further down the list they put you. But while in the office they say "call anytime if the pain doesn't subside or get worse", then they will schedule you a about 3-4 weeks away. I will never set foot in his office again. I have bills for over $2500 so far and he hasn't even given me any medicine to eliviate or lessen my pain. Never again for me.

Staff is very rude. Waited over 4 hours 1st visit. After 3 months now still haven't gotten anything for my back pain.

I saw a pain specialist prior to seeing Dr. Erickson and the only thing that was focused on was giving me more pain meds. I was using non medicinal alternatives because I didn't want to just take pills. He and I spoke at great lengths about all that I was doing. He agreed to assist me in this endeavor. I'm very happy with all that he has done for me. One of the main things I like about Dr. Erickson is he listens, which is almost unheard of in this day and age of medical care. I appreciate Dr. Erickson and his staff for all they have done for me.

This doctor and his staff are excellent. Everyone in this office is compassionate and caring.

Very caring and understanding. Treatments are explained. He listens to YOU, not just your symptoms. Only problem, he is so busy that u sometimes wait a little bit to be seen.
