New to forever tinnitus and I understand there is no cure. But I got a few sleeping pills and was sent on my way. No mention of a follow up, no pep talk on how to handle this in life. Seeking treatment in the UK where it's taken more seriously.

Dr. Sacks is amazing! I cannot say enough good things about him. He is a young and incredibly capable doctor. I was referred to Dr. Sacks by my ENT, Dr. Mantle, to perform my tonsil surgery (I am 32). When I arrived for my consult, I expected to be rushed, to have him tell me just to have the surgery, don’t ask questions, etc. etc. Not Dr. Sacks. He spent a lot of time discussing the pros and cons of surgery with me, asking about my medical history. Let me ask all my questions. He even pulled up my medical records regarding some neurological problems I had, and we discussed those. He is very focused on patient needs. Wonderful, patient bedside manner. And the surgery went so smoothly. I had much less pain than I expected, which obviously will vary for each person, but I credit this to his skill as a surgeon. Finally, his nurse Jake is wonderful. Very patient and answered all of my questions too. Wonderful care team! Thank you!

Dr. Sacks is amazing! I cannot say enough good things about him as an ENT and physician. He is a young doctor, so you will not find a lot of reviews online about him. I don’t feel adequate time was taken to properly diagnose my issue. I left with the same problem I had when I got there. An issue that has been successfully treated by ENT physicians in other cities over many years.
