Dr. Weikert was very caring about my eyes. He did such a wonderful job with my eyes. I was very nervous about the procedure but he understood and took the time to calm me down. He even called the day after to checked on me. I would highly recommend him for eye surgery.

Hands down BEST Ophthalmologist. I was seen for a rare condition. Dr. Weikert wasted no time referring me to specialty Dr.’s in this area. He took the time to call me back the following day to inquire how I was doing. Most compassionate kind Dr. I’ve ever seen and will follow up with him in the future. Thank you Dr. Welkert for caring!

Go to Dr. Weikert if you like being talked 'at' Go to Dr. Weikert if you like being talked 'at' instead of talked 'to'. When I tried to asked questions, he cut me off with an answer in a condescending tone. The only thing that stopped me from speaking up was the thought of what I dad would have said--it put a smile on my face just thinking about it. Maybe Dr. W was having a bad day but he seemed way too comfortable with that style of communication. My suggestion, Bedside manner school. I will not be going back.

Very personable and relaxed. I was able to go in the day that I called and only waited 30 minutes after I walked in. I had a perturbing situation with my vision and he was able to diagnose it and reassure me. I really appreciate the office's flexibility and kindness in Lewisburg. Furthermore, the visit was reasonably priced.

I absolutely recommend this doctor! He has been our family ophthalmologist for over 20 years. He is kind, patient, and very knowledgeable about his field. My family has full confidence in him and his professional staff.

The office procedures operate smoothly. Staff professionals ascertain information in a quick and accurate manner, contacting the patient as necessary. The surgical procedure went well. A friend referred me to Dr. Weikert for Cataract Surgery, and now I wouldn't trust anyone else with my eye health. He and his staff take their time and listen to your concerns, they truly only want what is best for their patients and it shows! The surgery went great and the recovery was just as fast thanks to him and his team. I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

My experience with Dr. Weikert was very poor, terrible bedside manners, He and the optometrist that said I needed Cataract surgery failed me, they told me I needed Cataract surgery, but wasn't ready for surgery.. my problem was with my corneal.. since my surgery, I've totally lost my far range sight. I'm near sided and after consulting with another Optomologist told me that my Cataract in my right eye is several years out to be removed and Dr. Weikert wanted to do both, a week apart.. glad I didn't have him to perform the surgery in the right eye.. if so! I would be totally near sided in both eyes. I've made 5 trips to my Veterans Dr. And she trying to correct what Dr. Weikert has messed up.. please get a second opinion before letting someone mess with your eye sight.. I had 2020 vision before surgery with Dr. Weikert, now it's 20-200.. ?? does anyone have a good answer for me?

Very RUDE! If the referral didn’t appear urgent I would not have chose this MD. He Asked me questions then when I tried answer he talked over me to the nurse very unprofessional! Took 5mins to look at my eyes ,no joke ,5 mins charged 250$!! Go somewhere else he had his nurses doing everything that regular Ophthalmologist will do themselves ! Ridiculous. Not to mention you’ll wait in the waiting room more than 30mins even when your appointments is before other people. My children go to a different ophthalmologist and have never been treated like this! I am so upset at the treatment and the fact that I work in the medical field as a nurse myself Its disappointing that the doctor treated his patients this way! I guarantee you he would not have treated his family like this if it was their vision. Ridiculous. I have had the privilege Of working with amazing doctors. I so wished that was the case today!
