Through the course of three years I have underwent multiple surgeries by multiple surgeons. Traveled from West Texas to see Dr. Weikert & wholeheartedly believe if I had started with him I would not have had multiple surgeries! Dr. Weikert removed my ring finger & moved my pinky over to my middle finger. Not only is he a master of his craft, he truly listens! Is dedicated to his patients and their goals. His appointments are never rushed & his follow-ups throughout recovery attentive!

Best hand surgeon ever! Fell and broke my wrist and elbow...I have complete motion in my wrist and only ones round of Pt after surgery that hot wax and hot air sand machine are the very best ever!!

My husband waited more than 2 hours after his scheduled appointment to be seen at all. The doctor and all staff refused to even acknowledge the delay or provide any clear idea of when he would be seen. No one apologized. They just acted as if a 2 hour delay is expected. Wildly disrespectful.

Dr. Weikert is an incredible doctor. He is an amazing surgeon with a tremendous personal and personable approach to his patients. He listened carefully to what I had to say about my horribly arthritic wrist, then after x-rays he showed me the x-rays and explained all possible treatments in depth. His patience and obvious care for his patients is exceptional, and I cannot speak highly enough about this tremendous doctor and this wonderful man.

Excellent doctor. Performed my CMC joint surgery. I had no infections and minimal scarring and regained use of my thumb. I cannot say enough about his bedside manner. He is one of the few Vanderbilt doctors that does not make you feel rushed. He makes eye contact, listens, demonstrates compassion for your pain and condition. He explains conditions and treatments fully and answers questions with patience and understanding.

Dr. Weikert was my surgeon for both of my hands. I recently retired from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and choose Dr. Weikert. While working there he was my surgeon and I highly recommend him for any kind of "Hand Surgery". He is the "BEST"!!

My post-operative pain level was the worst pain of my life. I've had many injuries and several surgeries and these couple of days have been the worst days of my life. The prescribed pain pills were useless and needed to be tripled, at least. Never agree to outpatient surgery from this doctor.
