Dr. Julie Pena Md's Online Review Report Card

Great. No one will love Mohs surgery if it is on a tender spot. Shots are like super skin test to me. Especially as 9 of mine have been on my nose, and face. But as for Dr. Pena personally, No problem. She does great work, overall, but it is not painless, until shots take effect and deaden the area. The staff who work with her are great also, especially my buddy Mandy who loves to have fun and cut up with me when I am being worked on. No major complaints at all except they need to change that d--- answering service they have...lol Bryan N Dodd

It would be difficult for me to think of any one thing I could negatively say about my experiences with Dr. Pena, her staff or her business, Skin Solutions, over the past month or so. As a matter of fact, I cannot remember if I have ever encountered such a friendly and caring medical professional, or one who surrounds herself with a competent and equally compassionate staff.To say I was dismayed when told the brown spot on my arm was cancerous and surgery would be required to deal with it properly would be un understatement. I have never considered I might have a cancerous growth. Dr. Pena’s staff, however, immediately put me at ease talking about the procedure, what to expect, and how to prepare. They were great, and in this non-medical person’s opinion, the procedure went extremely well. They even called the next day to check up on me. How often does that happen?They are considerate, experienced and thoughtful folks at Skin Solutions, and I would highly recommend you taking advantage of their services if every you should have the need.

I’ve been going to Skin Solutions for many years and have seen Dr. Pena, JoEllen and for the last few years ...Daryl Smith. They are all fantastic! I go to the Pulaski office. The office staff is so pleasant.

I have had Moh's surgery several times in the last year. Dr. Pena performed all the surgery's. She is kind and professional and always answers all my questions. Everyone in the offices are exceptional in making you feel like you are their only patient and that they care for you. Dr. Pena and JoElla Dyson are great.

JoEllen Dyson in the Cool Springs office has a comforting bedside manner, performs a detailed examination and explains her diagnosis and treatment plan in a very understandable fashion. I recommend her highly.

I have been seeing Skin Solutions for nearly 8 years. Dr. Smith has been my provider at the Columbia location and is very thorough in his examinations with me (twice a year) and had performed surgery for cancer removal from my wrist. He has biopsied several placed of concern and recently discovered a cancer spread on my nose and scheduled me for Mohs Surgery with Dr. Pena. I have a history of skin cancer and Skin Solution is my go to provider for scans and treatment.

I've never had a doctor that personally care about me as much as Cassie does, she's great.

Dr. Pena was very professional and communicated the procedures as she was performing them. Dr Pena made me feel very safe and comfortable during the process.
