Ethan Kellum's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Kellum performed the Regenexx stem cell replacement on my knees in September 2017. I am currently 82 years old, I walk 15-20 miles/week at an approximate 3.5-3.7 mph, I have won 1st place in my age class in the two 5ks that I participated in last fall, and I am still pain free! Literally, thousands of patients have successfully been helped by this particular procedure. Regenexx publishes lots of data and admits a small statistical "failure" as with any knee-replacement; procedure. What can't I do is run. Out of curiosity, I have attended two "snake oil" presentations on stem cell knee replacement so, I can understand the negative review.

Dr. Kellum has been amazing to work with! After years of trouble with my shoulder and lingering pain, I now have more comfort and rang of motion than what I have had in the last 15 years!!!

The FDA is cracking down on doctors who unscrupulously tout stem cells and other “regenerative” therapy. Dr. Kellum makes unscientific and unproven claims about his unconventional, expensive treatments. He is also critical of other providers who base their treatments on established science. Just a matter of time. The FDA and medical board will step in and impose more regulations and sanctions.

I had suffered for several years with arthritis in my feet and was given only one option by other orthopedic surgeons and that was surgery! I had the stem cell injection procedures and now I’m so much better. Not only did the stem cell injections work that he did but I’m at least 90+% better. Also he’s one of the finest people I have ever met. He truly cares!

I just wanted to let you know I will be leaving reviews on all sites for you and your staff. I am just blown away with how amazing you guys are. My father is a physician, he did research for over a year before choosing Dr. Kellum and even then, we were just so happy that his office exceeded every expectation. Very single staff member is knowledgable, friendly, engaging and warm. The answer all questions with integrity and honesty break down each piece of the procedure in real world terms. They take time to make sure you are comfortable- that doesn't happen very often in today's medical world. Then you get to Dr. Kellum, and I just simply am amazed by this man. Immediately he feels like your brother, your best friend, someone you are all to happy to trust your fathers care with. His bed side manner is impeccable. I have never seen a knee doctor go so far as to use an echo while injecting a knee. He was meticulous in making sure my father was comfortable. This isn't someone just treating patients quickly to put money on the books. This is a professional working to heal and do so in the best manner possible. Surgery is the final option for him. God if we could only clone him. Get him to teach the next generation of physicians. My father getting treated by Dr Kellum and his staff is a blessing and a godsend. As a health care provider myself I wanted to find someone who I could trust to do Regenexx procedure on me. Dr Kellum’s experience impressed me but after meeting him I was reassured that I chose the best practitioner! The procedure was thoroughly explained, his assistant Celeste worked with Dr Kellum to provide seamless care. This has been the best experience I have had.

Dr Kellum was a personable fellow. His diagnosis was what I suspected. He was knowledgeable about what my insurance would cover and what they would not and offered 3 treatment options.

Dr. Kellum is by far the best doctor I've ever been to. He answered any question I had. He spent time with me explaining my options. He didn't jump straight to saying I needed surgery I was given alternative options to a MCL surgery. I picked getting the surgery and I can't say enough how great Dr. Kellum and his staff are. Dr. Kellum and his staff are very friendly, kind and prompt. I will recommend Dr. Kellum to anyone.

I had the privilege of seeing Dr. Kellum. He was so kind, explained everything we were going to try for my knees. He took all the time we needed. I never felt rushed. He made me feel like I had been using him forever. There need to be more doctors like Dr. Kellum. His office staff was very nice and knowledgable also.
