List of Leslie Cuevas Md's Reviews
I have never been to a doctor like Dr. Cuevas. She listens and genuinely cares for her patients. I was in the middle of a horrible psoriatic arthritis flare up. She spent time with me on the phone on her day off to make sure I was okay. How many other doctors would do that?.…none! We created a plan to help me return to better health and she asked me to check in with her her a few days later to make sure the plan was working. She even gave me advise how to help my family understand my limitations. I am very thankful and blessed to have her as my doctor.
I think she cares about her patients. She did a great job trying to figure out what was wrong with me and really tried to help me. Very friendly and spends a lot of time asking questions.
After several visits, blood tests, and money out of pocket I got no closer to a solution. Then, I was cut off as a patient by certified mail for being "non compliant" after losing my business, my health insurance, my house and most of my personal belongings due to Covid. I could not afford the extra 2300$ in blood work or the 5000$ for another scan because we were desperately trying to pay rent and buy food until I found a new job. I could not afford to pay her, she doesn't take insurance and I was stuck on Prednisone as a maintenance drug until I could afford to get the tests she required. Out of the blue, I get a certified letter saying she would no longer see me as a patient. Personally, I don't think she knew how to help, she wasn't making money off of me but obviously couldn't say either of those things to me. So she said I was "non compliant" to her recommendations and told me to find someone new. Now I have to start all over, find a new doctor and go through all the tests again.
I think Dr Leslie is the best rheumatoid Dr I have ever had. Unfortunately I had to leave Dr Leslie for insurance purpose's. That has been 2 years ago. After seeing another Dr, I have never had such a caring compassionate, knowledgeable Dr that will spend time with you and listens to you. The treatment that I received after I left Dr Leslie was nothing compares to how she treats her patients.. I would drive across the state to see her again, best Dr that really cares about her patients. Once you visit with her your like family. Best Rheumatoid Dr I have ever had!
Dr. Cuevas is absolutely awesome. After 3 months with terrible pain and no rheumatologist in the area willing to see me (but having no problem stringing me along for weeks on end), Dr. Cuevas helped me within hours of receiving the referral from my GP. She took the time to walk me through the salient points in my bloodwork-no doctor has ever gotten into that sort of detail with me before. I've never been sick in my life and to be diagnosed with Lupus at 59 has been fairly traumatic. Dr. Cuevas explains things completely and offers great general guidance on adjusting to my new reality. She is by far the best dr I've ever had, and I have been blessed with a couple of really good ones over the years.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
