Dr. Nyquist is a wonderful doctor. Easy to talk to and really listens. I have never really been heard by a doctor in the way that he heard me. He treats his patients with respect. My only regret is not seeing him sooner.
He over medicated me and I couldn’t hold a job. The staff was very rude especially Ann.
I would not recommend Dr. Nyquist to anyone for anything. I was extremely disappointed with him, staff, and the entire experience. Huge waste of my time, money and energy. Extremely unprofessional and unsympathetic. Down right rude to me on my second and last visit with him! Save yourself or loved ones and do not visit this Dr.!
My physican recommended him and gave me his number. I called left message no response over a week. Called back today said I had to do it online. I get on his website and has a form to print out but no where to send it to. Says on site to bring on appointment but I cant get one and there is a lot of people that needs his services without a computer printer or fax. So strange. Makes me think they are not professional and am now worried about even seeing him

I highly recommend going Dr. Nyquist. The staff and nurses are very knowledgeable and understanding.
Dr nyquist could care less about you. My mom died and I made an appt which cancelled out my appt the following week. They didnt cancel it tho I told my therapist this one takes its place. They didnt call to confirm and when I didnt show they billed me. I told them to stop billing me. They kept on. I called and told them to stop or I wont be back. They said ok we honor that. What a jerk. They should of been apologizing to me. Then I was left trying to find someone else. They dont care.
Dr. Nyquist (the couple of times you may get to see him) is pretty good. His team of psychologists are also pretty competent, particularly Ann who's amazing. She was the one I saw for almost 10 years. His office staff, however, are horrendous. I've had incidents of appointments not being placed, despite having the card as proof, but not finding out until sign in. They're difficult to work with over the phone and in person and their customer service is actually customer obstacles. I went 8 years without asking for anything over the top or out of the way, but I sympathize for you the moment you do. It's easier to feel more like an inconvenience than a patient based on how they treat you. Again, the educated ones are competent and great, but the office staff hinders their practice significantly.
I have been seeing Dr. Nyquist for a few years now and I love him. Every visit is cordial and he truly understands anxiety disorder and PTSD. Unlike with my PCP, I have NEVER been made to feel bad for needing anxiety medication. I highly recommend him.
Terrible experience. NPs do not listen and they act like they do not want to do their job - like it is an inconvenience for them. They will kick patients out with no notice and for no reason. Do NOT recommend. Plenty of other great Psychiatrists in the area!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
