He was very rude and dismissive. He did not listen to my concerns. Made me feel horrible. Left crying

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Lee. I’m menopausal and he has help make this transition more doable. Very knowledgeable in women’s health!

I have had a great experience with Dr. Lee. He takes the time to listen and genuinely cares. He’s an outstanding doctor and surgeon.

Dr. Lee is a super compassionate person and knowledgeable OBGYN. I cannot recommend him highly enough for getting your baby here safely and setting you at ease. He has seen me through two pregnancies and general female health issues since then.

Very dismissive, and didn’t care to here my concerns regarding ovarian cysts. Kept saying I should stick with one hospital system and kept cutting me off. He assumed because of my age I had STDs and then asked if I had a history of ovarian cysts, which should’ve been the first question. Kept asking questions that were already answered before hand and also in my chart. He kept recommending birth controls that I refuse to take and then when I said I didn’t think the depot shot was a good fit, he finally agreed. Would not recommend him for women of color.

I had a terrible experience with him. He's arrogant and doesn't care about patients. Absolutely no bedside manners and he doesn't follow-up. I had to find out from another office that he referred me to them.

When I first went to this doctor I explained my symptoms & pain. He did not think it had anything to do with GYN & sent me on my way. I went to the ER 2 days later and found I had a cyst on my ovary & fibroids causing the pain. A month later I started to bleed in between cycles & after 3 weeks of bleedig started to have horrible pain. I went back to him & he seemed annoyed I was there & said I dont know what it is but take some Tylenol & try this medication. A week later still bleeding, a month at this point & the medication that he put me on is known to cause an interaction with another medication I take daily. I did not know this & it caused me to be put into the hospital. DO NOT go to VUMC OBGYN in Cool Springs or this doctor.

Please do NOT use this doctor. I was experiencing extreme back pain at 33 weeks. They did a urine culture to rule out any infections. He did not do a pelvic check or ultrasound and told me to go home and take the muscle relaxer he prescribed. I explained I was in a ton of pain but I felt like he wasn't really listening. I continued to work that week, in pain, thinking it was just normal back pain like he told me. By Thursday I started experiencing contractions. I drove straight to the Doctors office from work and he was not there so I saw a different doctor who, thank God, suggested she do a pelvic exam. I was 7cm dialated...had to be rushed to Williamson via ambulance to have an emergency c section because my baby was also breach and I didn't know it. Please save yourself and get a different doctor who cares about your well being and the baby's.
