Dr. Carrillo was very knowledgeable and compassionate. She answered all my questions thoroughly and presented all the information in a clear and understandable way. I did not feel rushed, and she allowed me as much time as I needed to ask questions and gather information. Even though she is a surgeon, she did not push unnecessary surgery on me. After evaluating my case, we both agreed that it was not necessary at this time. I am blessed to have had my general practioner refer me to Dr. Carrillo and Williamson Medical Center.

Ysela Carrillo, M.D. saved my life and my frightened soul as a kind, caring, competent surgeon when I had a very serious emergency complicated colon resection. I identify her as a truly compassionate angel on earth that I was fortunate enough to have encountered in my life. I will forever be grateful to this wonderfully gifted individual. Her focus was my healing, my physical & mental wellbeing—adding little extra “tips” along the way for my comfort, knowledge & confidence that “Everything would be OK…” As a happy, healthy, holistic person who has avoided doctors and medication for many decades, this was a significant educational life turning point for me.
