List of David Lanier's Reviews
I visited the ER with a fever and body aches. He listened to my concerns and he was kind.
If giving a zero rating was possible I would. Wouldn’t even let my wife talk about why she came to the ER told her he’d give her something for her head ache and send her home. Spoke over her the entire time and acted as if he couldn’t be bothered. Completely disrespectful and seems to be in the wrong profession.
One of the worst interactions I've ever had in healthcare. He is extremely condescending, he interrupted and dismissed everything I said. I am a registered nurse with a decade of experience. I went to the ED he is currently at for an acute pain manifestation from a severe congenital abnormality (which I was scheduled to have surgery on 4 weeks after this episode). He questioned why I chose a neurosurgeon so far away (because there are very few in the US who are capable of performing such a complicated surgery). While explaining my spinal abnormality, he literally said "yeah right", because he couldn't just swallow his pride and admit that he didn't know enough about it. Mind you, he could access my other records and history through Epic and view it himself. Someone with his demeanor should NOT be working in a field where compassion is so important.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
