David Mazurek was my 89 year old mother's Doctor for several years. I went with her to see Mazurek as a follow up to a 4 day hospital stay due to extremely high, stroke level, blood pressure.(279/217) He had not received the hospital report at the time of her visit and REPEATEDLY told us , "I don't believe that". Every question my mother asked him was negatively received. When I asked what could be the reason her blood pressure went so crazy high, again we got "I don't believe it was that high". My mother told him he should have the report which showed it and all we got was, "I don't have it". I was told to leave the room and that I was not welcome back. (No problem. She won't be back). I admit the numbers are extremely high but it is on record and very true. Mother is a Medicare (Health Springs) patient so I do not know if this is why he would treat an elderly patient in this manner. She is still waiting for an apology for being called a liar. It must be lost with his report.

Since I what they call a "White Coat Syndrome" patient and always get anxious at any Doctor visit I doubly appreciate Dr. Mazurek and his easy going manner. He is indeed most thorough in is examinations, and takes the time to listen to any concerns I may have. I will highly recommend him!

Dr. Mazurek is by far one of the most caring, gentle and thorough doctors in the field of Internal Medicine. He has been caring for my 91 year old mother since her move to Tennessee 3 years ago. His calm demeanor and concern is reassuring. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Mazurek and his nurse, Melissa, are the best in my book. They are both "normal" people that are very eady to talk to. They are some of the few which are left in the medical profession that are in it for the right reason, helping people! I had several problems which many Dr's had missed in the past, and Dr Mazurek always diagnosed me "right-on-the-money" everytime. He is caring, bright, and makes sure you are fully informed.
