List of Mental Health Cooperative's Reviews
They are not professional, would not even call back still after 3 days, asking for help, I don't recommend this facility at all, find another place that will really help you. .
I've been receiving medication for depression/anxiety from MHC for about four years (I quit once for personal reasons but it's been two years straight, now) and have been really pleased with the speed and efficiency of my appointments, as well as their ability to get me set up with a financial aid program while I don't have insurance. My medication has changed my life and I'm grateful for them. Regarding some other reviews, I can attest to the front desk not being super friendly all the time, it makes me kind of reluctant to call but it's usually just a matter of redirecting me to someone else.
I want to start this off by saying that my actual talk therapist is absolutely fantastic and this review is NOT about her or the staff, if you need talk therapy I would absolutely recommend this place and the staff is always very quick to answer and help to the best of their abilities. This review is about my experience with the Clinical Psychologist they paired me with.My first impression of her was very abrasive and curt. It didn’t seem like she had any time for me and rushed our appointments. I let it go because as long as she got the job done who cares about my temporary discomfort. She immediately put me on a medication and for a little while I saw improvement, but Over time it started reacting with me wrong. I mentioned my concerns to her and she urged me to keep trying them for a bit longer to see if they worked well. A few more months go by and it starts being a major impact on my life. I tell her again in our next appointment and she listened to me and threw me immediately on a different medication.I start taking the medication and I start getting even worse results. It gets to the point that I start having suicidal thoughts and call immediately, the nurse was amazing and made sure that I had the info I needed just in case I needed further help, but I did not talk to my actual doctor.Fast forward to my next and last appointment, I’ve been having awful “Brain Zaps” since being told to cut my medication cold turkey.I tell my doctor about this and she first tells me she wasn’t aware I was told to stop the medication completely, and then tells me that SSRI Withdrawls aren’t real. 😤 she told me that this kind of thing doesn’t happen with ANY depression or anxiety medication, even though months ago on my first medication she told me they DID. Not to mention the HUNDREDS of documents that say they are very real and first hand experiences. She then completely forgets about all of the previous medications she put me on and continues to insist that I haven’t been on SSRIs long enough to experience any symptoms even though I have been on them for almost a full year and she still insists I’ve only been on them for a few weeks. She then confuses my charts with another client and says that I asked for labs for a disorder I DONT have or have ever asked for. I tell her I don’t want to take a daily medication anymore and she cuts me off and dismissed me and hangs up the phone. I never once raised any sort of attitude or showed any signs of anger or anything that would warrant such a cold dismissal. I feel like I was never listened to and my symptoms and issues were irrelevant to her and when I questioned being on meds AT ALL she wanted nothing to do with me. Now I’m still having issues that are 100% a direct cause of the medications she put me on and I’m terrified. I do NOT recommend medication help from this place, I can’t imagine what other clients may be going through.
I have been searching for a place where I feel comfortable sharing my mental health issues, and this place definitely did the trick! I went in today for my intake appointment and they really make sure the experience is enjoyable as it can be. I highly recommend this place.
Each provider seems helpful and wants to understand your goals and perspectives. In most cases, the staff were professional. In one case, when I had made a mistake, I was treated rudely at the front desk.
I took my nephew for his appt .this morning and the lady at the front desk was very rude.if she's not a morning person maybe she shouldn't be on the front desk.my first time in this place everyone else was nice but her.Michele kerchner was her name on the desk .sorry that his appt got messed up and it made you upset that you thought that it was cancelled but his casemanger knew that it wasn't and you acted like it bothered you.
Nice staff usually in and out when you have an appt love this place

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
