List of MId State Ent - Gallatin's Reviews
It took them two weeks to call me back regarding a medication. They claimed they never received my messages. When I asked for an alternative sinus medication, I was told there isn’t one. They are extremely unprofessional and one of the receptionists is extremely rude. When I called wanting to speak to someone, she said “well, I can’t pull them from a patient” as if I even said that. I’ll never go back again.
Ive had 2 bad experiences in this office, first one was with the surgery scheduler who is so insanely rude, treats you like you’re an inconvenience and overall unpleasant to speak with, I talked to the manager about it and to my surprise nothing has changed. Yet again I am referred to Midstate ENT and of course they assume that because of my name I can’t speak English, which is already insulting, they communicate with me through my PCP so they can relay the appointment info since “they don’t have anyone who speaks Spanish” and also adds that I need to bring my own interpreter to the appt. Mind you, nowhere does it say I even speak Spanish, this was beyond insulting, degrading and illegal, you cannot ask people to bring their own interpreter. Medical offices are requires by law to provide interpretation of needed. I would expect you all to know and do better. The staff in this clinic is really nice and I love Dr, Lee but whomever called I believe to be a referral coordinator and the surgery coordinator are horrible and if you all as a practice continue to ask people to bring their own interpreter, you’re looking to get sued.
They put you on hold and never come back to you. Then you call back and they put you on hold again without even talking to you. Then you tell them not to put you on hold they say they have to and they put you on hold again. Awful customer service I have canceled my appointment.
Horrible office. Every appointment I’ve taken my grandmother to we have arrived 15-20 mins before scheduled time and every time it takes atleast 45-60 mins past her scheduled appointment before she is taken back to a room then another 15-20+ mins before the doctor ever comes in. I would recommend going somewhere else. This has happened at both the gallatin and Hendersonville office. Maybe yall shouldn’t schedule someone and take forever to see them cause the people that bring them to their appointments/ procedures might have to work also and can’t afford to take off due to your poor time management and misuse of time. And after reading all the other reviews we will definitely be going somewhere else.
ZERO STARS WAS NOT AN OPTION. Please avoid this office, especially if you have to book a procedure or surgery. Tina, the scheduler, has the worse attitude. She is unprofessional and acts as though she hates her job. Appropriate pre-op directions were not given by Dr. Lee's nurse --even when I called, asked, and left a VM. This pushed back my toddler's procedure and inconvenienced the doctor's schedule. No patient should have to ask the day before for pre-op instructions AND still was not given the correct instructions. This should have been standard procedure. I called the office manager, Michelle, to bring this to her attention and allow her the opportunity to attempt to make things right. Michelle made excuses for the team. There was not a sense of accountability at all. Please choose somewhere else for ENT needs, especially for your kids. This office staff is not worth your time, energy, or commitment. The only positive encounters that I had was the brief meeting with the NP and Dr. Lee. The others named above lack decorum, professionalism, and patient care skills.

Very good office.. I highly recommend Mid State ENT…
Very long wait time. Staff was nice. I know medical offices are notorious for long wait times. But when you’re there with a one week old newborn who is on a strict feeding schedule, they should at the least inform you of the wait time. We made sure to have everything prepared by pumping right before entering the office and feeding right there. But 1.5 hour wait without knowing when you’ll be seen was too long. There were also many others who were called in before us. We will have to use a different office.
My daughter had ear tube surgery here last week, the service given from front desk, nurses and providers was exceptional, I was referred by our pediatrician and was seen in a week and surgery scheduled almost immediately, overall it was a great and fast experience, procedure day was so nerve wrecking and the staff did a great job explaining and keeping communication with us, it was quick, painless and my baby seems so much happier and healthier ever since, Dr. Lee and everyone one else were amazing, would definitely recommend. Big shout out to the girl up front at the hunt club location, she was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and very sweet, keep up the good work.
Mid-State ENT Gallatin Location- Dr Lee I broke my nose, and ended up finding my way to contacting Midstate ENT via referrals. I will say (addressing other review concerns) over the phone and in person the office staff weren’t necessarily rude, but they weren’t the most friendly either. That said I initially saw a PA, shamefully I cannot remember her name, she was very nice and was considerately gentle when inspecting my nose. Once confirming I in fact needed surgery Dr Lee popped in. Dr Lee has the most exceptional bedside manners I’ve experienced with a physician, possibly ever. He was purposeful in my treatment plan, clear with information, and just seemed to genuinely all around care. The surgery center he utilizes also provided top notch care. In addition to the general care I received, my nasal fracture repair was so well done I can breath better than BEFORE I broke my nose(silver lining)! I simply cannot say enough positive things about the care I received by Dr Lee. Though my initial needed reason(broken nose) to see him was unfortunate if I were to need an ENT again I would not hesitate to return to him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
