I am at the three week mark and just had my follow up with Dr. Gautsch. I have been an oddity to my physical therapists as well. I am not only impressed with Dr. Gautsch’s skill, but with his surgical center. The procedure was made as stress free as possible, and every question and concern was addressed. From the day of surgery to present, my knee has felt stable - this is due to the lack of damage to the muscles and tendons. I recommend this approach and surgeon highly.

I had knee replacement by Dr. Gautsch and his staff and had great results. When I started PT, 3 days after my surgery my therapist told me I was at least a month ahead of any patient she ever had. I never had to use a walker. I was the her first with the procedure though the side of the knee instead across the top. Highly recommend him!!

Dr. Gautsch is amazing !!! I had torn my labrum in my left shoulder in May 2018 had surgery in August 2018 with another Dr. in Bowling Green, Ky. Have been in pain sometimes severe ever since. Dr. Gautsch repaired and corrected what the other Dr. botched on December 20 , 2019 now here I am less than 3 weeks after surgery and have NO pain and more range of motion. On my first visit to Gautsch he diagnosed and pinpointed the exact position of my pain and the cause of it. I had been back and forth to the previous Dr. so many times I have lost count as well as physical therapy at multiple locations for 6 months total. I thought I was going to be in pain the rest of my life but with one visit to Gautsch and then Surgery I am 100% pain free !! I highly recommend Dr. Gautsch for any shoulder injuries on top of being a great Dr and surgeon he’s a nice guy , very polite, explains things very well and genuinely cares for his patients. Terry

His technique which avoids use of a tourniquet, does not cut tendons, ligaments or muscles. His image guided approach to prosthesis placement is innovative and allows for a much faster recovery without excess tissue damage. My physical therapy team is blown away by the approach and how much movement and function that I already have in the operated knee just three weeks after surgery. I'm gently spinning on a bike and am able to walk without a limp around our neighborhood and I'm also able to hike easy mountain trails."

He is so professional yet personal and takes time to listen to you and answer all your questions as well as explain the process and assess your condition. Very patient, kind and caring as well as knowledgeable and honest evaluations.

I underwent Shoulder Surgery in 2018 due to a nasty fall on ice by Dr. Gautsch. I couldn’t be happier and he done an excellent job. If I hadn’t waited 6.5 months to have surgery done it would have went better. Great Job Dr.

Four years post op of TLKR and I’m still in excruciating pain. I wish I had never had the surgery. This has been an absolute nightmare.

Worse mistake I ever made. Constant pain continues after four years of total left knee replacement. Instead of fixing my problem, he made it worse.

I had total knee replacement to fix my problem, not make it worse. Big mistake. Now I’m trying to find a surgeon to fix what Gautsch f’ed up.
