I was told that I met the criteria, over the phone, for antibody treatment by a representative of Sumner Regional Medical Center (SRMC) in Gallatin, TN and they told me to go to one of their facilities. When I arrived, the nurse and doctor Lei did a brief examination (temp, weight, height, BP) and Dr. Lei told me that I did not meet the criteria for the treatment even though the representative from Sumner Regional Medical Center told me that I met the criteria. They claimed to have diagnosed me but did not diagnose me with anything and did not treat me for anything at all. I diagnosed myself. They charged over $2000 for this experience. Had they given me the treatment, my insurance would have likely paid for it all. SRMC made money for denying me treatment. The next day, I went to a different care provider (Physicians Urgent Care) and they determined that I met the criteria for treatment and that I did need treatment. Physicians Urgent Care gave me the treatment and I recovered.
